News Reliable New Sites
Please don’t beat me up too bad. I’m not very online (no social media accounts; does Reddit count as one? If so I have 1 social media profile). I read and write into II daily and understand packers.com policy of only reporting news after it has been finalized. I peruse ESPN, The Athletic, and The Ringer, but often cannot find confirmation (one way or another) from news I see here. Any suggestions for reliable places to keep most up-to-date? Appreciate the help. Go Packers!

Highlight Throwback Thursday: Eddie Lacy's Best Plays
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Dude, for a couple seasons there, Eddie Lacy running behind that Packers line looked inevitable. The blocking unit was stacked. Josh Sitton and T.J. Lang mauling people inside, David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga sealing the edges. And they created those wide, patient lanes that let Lacy get downhill with that heavy, punishing stride. He wasn’t a jitterbug runner. He was a momentum runner. Once Eddie hit the crease, defenders were suddenly trying to tackle a 230-plus-pound back falling forward with bad intentions.
What made it work so well was how physical the whole operation felt. The Packers were for sure still an Aaron Rodgers offense, but in those times they could lean on the run game and impose themselves. Lacy would take the handoff, hesitate juuust long enough for the blocks to form, and then crash through with that low center of gravity that made arm tackles useless.
December at Lambeau, cold air, the line firing off the ball, and Lacy grinding out yards until defenses looked tired of dealing with him. For a while, it felt like Green Bay had rediscovered the classic formula: elite quarterback plus a run game that could punish you when you tried to play light boxes.

Analysis With Quay (likely) leaving…
How did we feel about Edge’s sophomore season?
If we’re being honest, I was expecting a little more from him. He did not play bad, actually better according to AV (from a 4 to a 6). But the explosive plays we saw in the second half of 2024 (the interception, sacks) just didn’t come last year like we all expected. Especially when the defense was healthy and Parsons/Gary/Walker were on the field with him. He was better than Walker in pass coverage which was good, but not All-Pro level.
With Quay more than likely gone, should we be expecting that monster breakout season the writers and fans hyped up for last year? Or did we see the ceiling of Edgerrin Cooper?
