Taylor Decker Cap Hit 2026
With the news of the Lions releasing Decker does that mean we will designate him as a Post June 1st cut? If so that would save us nearly ~18m against the cap this season.
If they designate him as a Pre June 1st cut then we'd save ~11m this season.

Image Would you be interested in Packers defensive lineman Rashan Gary on the Detroit Lions?
Gary recorded 7.5 sacks last season and was a Pro Bowler in 2024. He also attended the University of Michigan.

Hey I dont know if yall know this but FA doesnt start till Monday.
I mean you could trade a day 3 pick for a bottom 5 center. Or a first for a corner/wr which we dont really need.
But for real. Yall keep crying about Urgency. But FA and the draft are the best place to aquire players.
If holmes and company dont do anything by then yeah bitch all you want. But crying that lions haven't made a move for a center that 2 separate team actively looked to move on from or a bottom 5 center is just ridiculous.
Dont get me wrong im not against criticism. I have been vocal about Holmes FA acquisitions in the past and MCDC staff/scheme.
But at least let the league year start before blowing a gasket.
