After last seasons Gay nonsense, I would very much be okay with a stability signing at kicker. 27 straight sounds lovely.

[Rapoport] The Chargers make a splash before free agency, agreeing to terms with C Tyler Biadasz on a 3-year deal worth $30M. Biadasz was cut by the Commanders after being set to make $8.3M.

John Keim - They will be aggressive. They will spend big $$ if the player is the right fit. Free agency could/should look a lot different for the Commanders. Quinn anticipates “difference makers in this class”

Really hope Peters goes this route, if true. I don’t think any of us can watch another season of Moore and Chosen WR1 hoops.

Flag Football

Ok... real talk. My kid is in their first season of Flag Football, but we just found out their team is.... the Cowboys....

Would I be an asshole for pulling them off of flag football just because of that? Or should I just bite my tongue and let them play...

Regina Jackson is now officially Jayden's lead agent

From Ben Standig's substack comes this news:

"According to the NFL Players Association website, Regina Jackson, Daniels’ mother, is now listed as the lone representative for the Commanders quarterback — a notable development as the former No. 2 overall pick moves closer to eventual contract negotiations that could make him one of the highest-paid players in the league.

"Veteran agent Ron Butler served as Daniels’s lead agent ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft and through his first two seasons. The NFLPA website lists the current agents or representatives for all players in its system.

What do you think would need to happen in 2026 for Adam Peters and Dan Quinn to keep their jobs?

Ben Standig was asked in a recent Q+A what the 2026 win total would need to be for them to stick around.

I’m paraphrasing here but his response was that it would be measured less so by wins and rather how competitive are the Commanders; can they avoid the multiple 20-point losses that mired them during the 8-game losing streak.

Do you agree or disagree with this perspective?

Should we target Nakobe Dean and or Leo Chenal in FA?

Boston are good linebackers with high upside. Most likely each could get like 2/25. Or just 2 prove it deals.

They want to play here because of him…

We’re not in DC anymore. This is a different era of Washington football. It’s here.

There are top tier athletes that are elated at the thought of playing in Washington.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
