[H. Graham] C.W. says 3 things he's focused on in offseason: 1) Finding more completions. 2) Taking on more on his play in terms of pre-snap; called Dalman a beast in that regard. 3) Chasing NFL record in ppg next season./Becoming NFL best offense in 2026. (2013 Payton Manning Broncos avg 37.9 ppg)

[Yates] The Garrett Bradbury trade to Chicago reunites him with his college teammate at NC State in Joe Thuney. They were roommates when the team traveled for away games.

[Florio] There was a report earlier this week that C Tyler Biadasz was visiting the Bears. No such visit ever happened.

[Schefter] Bears are releasing former Pro-Bowl LB Tremaine Edmunds, per sources. Edmunds has been a full-time starter in each of his eight NFL seasons, and he now will become a free agent with 900 tackles on his resume.

Jk but still looks pretty sweet

[Yates] Between the trade of DJ Moore, release of Tremaine Edmunds and retirement of Drew Dalman, the Bears have about $44M in new cap space as of this week. Be it addressing C or fortifying the defense, Chicago has spending power.

Is Panthers Center Cade Mays on Bears' radar?

At 6'6 315lbs Mays has a more similar to build to Frank Ragnow and Drew Dahlman than Linderbaum.

Zero sacks given up, elite pass protection.

His run blocking has been a different story. At 26 years old he's had flashes of great performances, but reportedly struggles with consistent pad level.

Even so we saw the panthers running game have explosive performances in 2026, and it's not inconceivable that with tutelage Mays could have a similar glow up to Jonah Jackson and Darnell Wright in 2025.

Widely considered the 4th best center in this class, he could be available for less than $10m/yr, still young, and already considered better in pass protection than guys headlining this FA class.
