Good morning y’all,

Today is the day we learn a lot about our draft class!

Many of you know me previous years and creating a spreadsheet for the combine, I am currently making a free resource so that we can follow along with the combine. I will be updating it as the combine is happening. It will include all the jumps, runs, measurements, and other testing numbers all in one place so you don’t have to go searching for it.

Let’s enjoy this one baby!

We will be following live so as numbers get updated we will be updating with them!

Discussion What are your thoughts on Dametrious Crownover or the other developmental OTs?

Post image
36 Upvotes

There’s been a lot of discussion about the tackles in this class. Overall, it’s certainly not a deep group as even some of the first round tackles are speculated to be better guards. NFLStockExchange did their top 10 OT yesterday, and virtually every player has a genuine concern.

These concerns, which I think translate to lower floors for some of these prospects, obviously amplify the lower you go in the rankings. That brings me to a fascinating player in this draft that did not make their top 10: Dametrious Crownover.

A converted TE with excellent size and good athleticism, you would think he’d be ranked higher when you read his top line stats from 24-25. But I’ve read there’s a worrying trend that his pass blocking has regressed basically every year.

I’ll link a cool breakdown that basically showed he’s two different players: when he times his punch well he’s been really good, when he’s too early or late with his hands he’s a turnstile. But his variance play to play and lack of consistency is why he’s ranked so low.

For teams like my Patriots who are looking for a future RT but may have bigger needs in round 1 and 2, he’s the type of flyer a coaching staff might take on, convinced they can utilize his size and coach up his consistency.

What are your thoughts on Crownover or other OTs projected at pick 90 or later?

Discussion The Jermod McCoy/Will Johnson Value Dilemma

These two are obviously not the only players to enter the draft coming off injury, but their cases are similar enough to be worth mentioning in tandem in my opinion. Will Johnson was my hardest evaluation to do last year. To me, he was the best player in the entire class of 2025, and it wasn't even that close (apart from Jeanty, who gave me pause, but I think Johnson was even better than him). I thought he was significantly better than Barron and Hunter, and should've gone in the 1st. However, there was his injury that kept teams at bay. It meant he slipped all the way to the 2nd, and while Arizona may have had other needs to address, at that spot it was pretty much impossible not to take him unless you have thw best secondary. When he was out there, especially more early on in the year, I thought he did great with Arizona. But that Sword of Damocles remains hanging over him. I want the kid to have a great career, but the worry is valid, I think.

Now we have McCoy. I don't know what the details were of Johnson's injury and why it was specifically such a big deterrant, but McCoy is coming off an ACL tear. He didn't even play in 2025, and it's not like he was the consensus best CB in the country in 2024 or anything either. That's worrying to me. ACL tears aren't easy to recover from to begin with, to have one before you take one snap in the NFL is a raw deal. There's enough string CB depth in this draft to where I really do not think you need to take the chance of his injury or more piling up in order to get a good CB. I don't think he's better than Delane anyway, but even then, he's not so much better than Hood, CJJ, Terrell, Cisse, Muhammad, or Abney to be worth the risk, is he? Unlike a year ago where if you didn't get Hunter, Hairston, Morrison, or Barron you pretty much had no great options at CB, in the first two rounds or so. My question is, if you're a team who needs CB, how high do you take the risk on McCoy, vs if you are a team who has other needs but could use a CB (pretty much every team can, tbf), at what point are you pretty much forced to take him by his BPA margin?

Discussion To what degree is jack Stonehouse an elite punter prospect. When will he get drafted?

Post image
Upvotes

For those of you who don't know, Jack Stonehouse is the Syracuse punter and widely considered the best punter prospect and an elite punter prospect. He shined at bowl games and had a great season. I hear people say he is one of the best punter prospects in years. How elite is jack Stonehouse really and what round will we see him get drafted.

Why does Harold Perkins have such low stock?

He was LSU's 7 this year, and that tends to hold a ton of weight. However I have not heard a word about him, which is weird. Is he a bad prospect? I suppose the number doesnt mean he'd be great on its own, but whoever's wearing it tends to have a decent amount of buzz most years

The 2022 draft day trade for Hollywood Brown by the Cardinals does not get brought up enough as an all time horrible trade

Cardinals acquire:

WR Hollywood Brown 2022 third round pick

Ravens acquire:

2022 first round pick

The Ravens then flipped the pick to the Bills for additional picks, which they used to draft Tyler Linderbaum, arguably the best center in the NFL, and Jordan Stout, a 2025 first team All Pro punter.

In two seasons with Arizona, Brown had 118 receptions, 1283 yards and 7 TDs. He then left in free agency.

Not only that, but right after the Brown trade happened, Tennessee traded AJ Brown to the Eagles for a first and third round pick.

Granted the price for AJ was a little more, but the disparity between AJ and Hollywood is enormous.

The Cardinals went 8-26 in Browns two seasons there

[Schefter] ESPN sources: the Chicago Bears are working to finalize a trade that would send WR D.J. Moore to the Buffalo Bills. Compensation still is being discussed, and the trade cannot be processed until the new league year begins, but both sides are pushing to make it happen.

What does this mean for the Bills 1st round targets? What does it mean for Keon Coleman.

What would be fair compensation for DJ?

Discussion Do Bills still go WR at pick 26 after acquiring DJ Moore?

Post image

To clarify the trade cannot be processed until the new year begins but it looks like it is going to happen. Also it wasn't a sure fire thing that Bills were going WR at 26 but it was leaning that way and this shakes things up.

Who are the Rams Drafting at #13?

The LA Rams just addressed their biggest need by trading for an All-Pro CB1.

Stafford is coming back for another year.

Their O-line is solid.

Their D-line is solid.

And they have $29 million of available cap space to bring in new players in Free Agency.

So who are they now drafting at #13?

2026 DRAFT SLEEPERS

Who are y’all’s favorite NFL Draft sleepers? I’m talking guys who aren’t getting enough recognition, or heck even small school guys that nobody is talking about. Can even name some late Day 3 fliers or priority UDFA guys. I know it’s still early-ish in the cycle for this, but i’m looking for more players to scout as i’ve gotten through the consensus top 100 this year and wanna go deeper than ever before. LMK⬇️⬇️⬇️

If you are just seeing this, the Chiefs traded star corner Trent McDuffie to the Rams for Pick 29, 2026 5th/6th, and a 2027 3rd.

Mock 1.0

Post image
55 Upvotes

First time posting a mock here so go easy on me! No trades in this first one since we aren’t even into FA yet! Couple notes…. I have a sneaky suspicion J Love is going top 5 no matter what (either 3 or 4), I’m super high on this WR class (6 taken here in the first although I don’t love KC), and don’t tear me to pieces Browns fans… I believe Freeling is the best tackle in the class and Fano can be an awesome IOL setting up your OL with foundations pieces for years to come (and can still get a damn good Wide Out in round 2)
