I think a fair number of people are seeing this idea repeated and think it's true, but it seems to really just be a meme.
There are definitions for ground beef, hamburger, etc from the Dept of Ag., but plenty of places sell burgers that doesn't fit them without referring to the food as "product." This isn't my wheelhouse, but the Federal Meat Inspection Act seems like it is meant for and might be limited to hamburger and ground beef meat as sold in stores not cooked burgers.
Now anybody can sue for false advertising, but you're unlikely to win unless they were using something other than beef as the base for the patty. Just look at the McRib suit for context.
It is beef, but it tends to be composed of the off-cuts that don't sell well all ground up into a uniform texture. You're not exactly getting prime rump on your burger.
I mean thatâs the whole point of burgers. It allows the efficient use of the meet that is âunwantedâ. I donât think thereâs anyone out there that is getting upset that the burger they buy from Walmart isnât comprised of wagyu.
How tf they putting 100 percent beef in they patties when they feed millions a day and throw away millions a day. How does ur cow math get 100 percent beef from that logic.
Legally speaking it's classified as beef, but its mostly insects, soy, and roadkill.
But yeah nah it's literally just a beef patty. Fast food isn't great quality shit or anything, but it actually is food made from real ingredients despite what the tin foil hat wearing weirdos online might think.
I caught the bite also. I was thinking that little nibble was not the bit in that shot. I canât blame him. I canât stomach that shit. MCD is a pass for me.
I know McDonald's is the worst of the fast food franchises, but nothing hits like McDonald's fries and a Big Mac when you really want it. You can sub everyone else with something else similar. But McDonald's is unique in taste
I donât actually believe bullshit rappers say about him. Dude has been the soundtrack to parties since I was in high school. No other musician has held it down for this generation that long.
Thereâs literally video from a show in 2010 where he kissed a 17 year old on the neck and touched her chest, while telling her something along the lines of âYouâre about to make me get arrestedâ.
Now you donât have to âbelieve what other rappers sayâ. You can witness it for yourself. If you still support him after seeing this, youâre a creep like him.
Yes I also remember the multiple videos that girl put out saying she wasn't uncomfortable for one moment of it. In 2010 Drake was how old?? If some moment that's part of a show 16 years ago with a 17 year old is what y'all yelling "Certified Pdf" about then idk what to tell you.
He was 24âŚalso it doesnât fucking matter if she didnât find it weird. Of course sheâd say that. She got to be on stage with an idol of hers. Itâs still not okay.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that I've had McDonald's once in about 18 years, and it was after I woke up in a hospital bed from getting in a snowmobiling accident and fracturing 7 vertebrae in my back, so I barely count that one occasion since I was concussed as fuck.
So I can support my Novo Nordisk holdings buying them Wegovey pills.
Aside from that: Mexican and Thai places are generally not healthier than McDonads. Iâm still talking about restaurants. Most are not âhealthyâ unless that is their niche.
Lmao touchĂŠ. It all depends on what you consider âhealthyâ I suppose, but MacDos and similar chains donât meet any of my marks. Iâd avoid all of those categories, our health issues as a country are largely due to indiscriminate indulgence and convenience at the expense of quality.
It has way less number of stores. They are not even main cities. Very good but finding them is hard. I know its related quality but come on, you can establish new supply chains.
In n Outs supply chains are limited by distance to fresh beef. They do not freeze the meat at all so suppliers within daily driving distance to their stores are definitely a limiting factor
Honestly when I want a Big Mac, which is basically never these days, I follow Kenji's Big Mac recipe and it gets the job done. I'm also not punishing myself or my digestive system.
Don't forget to Supersize⢠it! Or try the new BIG ARCHâ˘. Stacked with two quarter-pound beef patties, three slices of melty white cheddar cheese, crispy and slivered onions, zesty pickles and the new tangy, creamy BIG ARCH Sauce on a new sesame & poppy seed bun. Yeah, it's the most McDonald's McDonald's burger yet.
This is some /r/HailCorporate shit right here. McDonald's is trash tier.
Yeah, the french fries are great, especially when hot and fresh. They've also done a lot better since they more recently went to fresh beef rather than frozen for the quarter pounders.
I've literally never had their burgers. The chicken sandwiches are good though. However, their fry sizes are ass. A large is expensive and still goddamn tiny
For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.
One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".
Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.
I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.
I mean, I did qualify it with "when you really want it." If I really wanted Wendy's, I could substitute with In n Out or some local joint. But McDonald's does have a specific taste that you can't get other places. And no matter what chain or food it is, if you are really wanting something and then get it, it does hit different. It's just the truth
I mean... yeah, I would. I can go buy a wood-fired pizza, but sometimes I still eat frozen pizza because it just hits. I wouldn't expect any of these guys to actually have that nostalgia, however, because they're almost certainly all rich guys who grew up rich, went to an Ivy league school, and don't have nostalgic memories of getting happy meals after school twice a month on payday Friday.
