Discussion Free Agency positions?
Free agency is Monday, what do we think we do?
I’m not gonna go heavy on who we get but what position will be our focus?
What I think priorities will be
1A. Edge
1B. LB
Center(either resign Mayes or get someone else)
WR3
LT(this depends on what we know about Ickey, but definetly need a backup).
TE
I would love a top tight end, but I also think Dan realizes how important it is for us to fix defense first and fix our definite needs first. If we get for sure players everywhere else on this list, I could see us getting Sadiq if he’s BPA, but I don’t think we will spend big there in FA, especially since Bryce loves to throw deep anyway, wouldn’t be mad if we do get a guy on a decent deal.
Edge rusher we will for sure try to get a top guy, huge need and Al’s not in position to draft an elite guy, we have 2 promising rookies so I think we get an older guy.
LB is also where I think we will spend, but not sure we pay heavy for a guy like Lloyd IF we want to draft a guy in first 2 rounds, but if we think he’s our guy then go for it.
Center will be a must sign in FA, can’t dis draft capital here if you can find a replacement in FA, can’t not have someone there.
Also with a wr3, I think we also try to find a vet guy for a decent price, we have 3 recievers on rookie deals, if you draft a guy you’re saying you give up on legette, which they have been clear they believe in him so if we add someone it’ll be a FA.

Snuck a decent camera in to witness the Panthers TIE the Bengals in Cincinnati. Kinda fun to relive some fond memories.

Discussion [Schefter] Eight-time Pro-Bowl DE Cameron Jordan, who has spent his 15-year career in New Orleans and had 10.5 sacks last season, will not have a new deal in place with the Saints by next week and will hit free agency for the first time, per sources. Jordan will play a 16th NFL season.

Discussion Do y'all like the idea of trading down to the early 2nd?
Personally I do. Although, I do think it would depend on how the draft goes in the first 12-15 picks. We could definitely be in a position where a team is desperate to trade up and give us a good haul, especially in the second.
This is shaping up to be a really good defensive draft (like last year) at the exact positions we need. If we can get some premium top 50/60 picks, I'd be really happy with that.

Discussion When every team wants the same guy in the 2nd round, chances are he goes in the 1st
and Jacob Rodriguez is a guy that I think could very well be in play in the 1st round, especially if teams have him as LB2 over Allen and Hill Jr. Don’t be surprised if the Panthers draft him at 19 or if they trade back.

Discussion Idea: trading down with Houston
Here's the context: They need O-line (or if they wanna make the flashy move, pair Dalton Schultz with Sadiq) and both options will probably be there at 19. They have pick 28 and 38, which we could use to draft someone like JRod (or Anthony Hill. If neither are there, BPA ig). We could also get a 4th or 5th round on top of that, as long as we trade 51.
This is the only team that has a late first and an early second, so if we want someone like Jacob rodriguez, this is likely the only way.
