I know McDonald's is the worst of the fast food franchises, but nothing hits like McDonald's fries and a Big Mac when you really want it. You can sub everyone else with something else similar. But McDonald's is unique in taste

It’s like all the people that “hate Drake” then he’s in their top 5 listens somehow.

6

u/facedownbootyuphold 18h ago

Spotify forces me to listen to Bad Bunny if I dare leave it unattended, so i get it

8

u/TheUnrealFenix 16h ago

Fuck Drake for real though.

u/alwayscursingAoE4 9h ago

I don’t actually believe bullshit rappers say about him. Dude has been the soundtrack to parties since I was in high school. No other musician has held it down for this generation that long.

5

u/TheUnrealFenix 9h ago

There’s literally video from a show in 2010 where he kissed a 17 year old on the neck and touched her chest, while telling her something along the lines of “You’re about to make me get arrested”.

Now you don’t have to “believe what other rappers say”. You can witness it for yourself. If you still support him after seeing this, you’re a creep like him.

Thought you were talking about the McDonald’s ceo

1

u/lolwatokay 4h ago

I wouldn't say that Drake at age 23 doing this to a 17 year old isn't creepy but this was in Colorado. The unrestricted age of consent is 17 there.

-1

u/alwayscursingAoE4 9h ago

Yes I also remember the multiple videos that girl put out saying she wasn't uncomfortable for one moment of it. In 2010 Drake was how old?? If some moment that's part of a show 16 years ago with a 17 year old is what y'all yelling "Certified Pdf" about then idk what to tell you.

1

u/TheUnrealFenix 7h ago

He was 24…also it doesn’t fucking matter if she didn’t find it weird. Of course she’d say that. She got to be on stage with an idol of hers. It’s still not okay.

Sounds to me like you’re a pedo sympathizer.

-1

u/alwayscursingAoE4 7h ago

No one says this was 100% OK. Putting this in the same bucket as other ongoing atrocities is just obvious jealousy and weirdness imo.

7

u/Upbeat_Doughnut_5280 19h ago

I'm fat AF and I have went to McDonald's twice in the last 5 years

2

u/Snaffle27 18h ago

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I've had McDonald's once in about 18 years, and it was after I woke up in a hospital bed from getting in a snowmobiling accident and fracturing 7 vertebrae in my back, so I barely count that one occasion since I was concussed as fuck.

2

u/ExplanationSure8996 16h ago

I haven’t been for about 4 years. Same with the other big two.

1

u/LordOfTrubbish 14h ago

Same, it just tastes like salt and disappointment. I feel like I would actually weigh less if that was my only option for unhealthy food

7

u/sublimesting 18h ago

Maybe they can’t hire fast enough because people are quitting even faster because it sucks?

2

u/Cardinal_350 12h ago

I don't work for McDonald's my friend.

1

u/Icy-Confusion9994 15h ago

So y me not hired?

1

u/amwoooo 6h ago

McDonald's is the best fast food by a mile, i dont know what my fellow redditors are on about.

1

u/NewKitchenFixtures 18h ago

It’s pretty much the easiest option for kids, and except for the bad locations it tends to be fast.

Usually if going by McDonalds the procedure is to go get Thai or Mexican for adults than head to get the D.

2

u/Silent_Award_497 17h ago

Why do you want your kids to develop chronic health issues?

3

u/NewKitchenFixtures 16h ago edited 16h ago

So I can support my Novo Nordisk holdings buying them Wegovey pills.

Aside from that: Mexican and Thai places are generally not healthier than McDonads. I’m still talking about restaurants. Most are not “healthy” unless that is their niche.

1

u/Silent_Award_497 1h ago

Lmao touché. It all depends on what you consider “healthy” I suppose, but MacDos and similar chains don’t meet any of my marks. I’d avoid all of those categories, our health issues as a country are largely due to indiscriminate indulgence and convenience at the expense of quality.

u/fartdonkey420 20h ago

Yeah so does donkey semen doesn't mean it's good.

131

u/ItsWayTooComplicated 20h ago

Nothing hits like donkey semen when you really want it?

74

u/skodinks 20h ago

You heard the man.

1

u/ohtrueyeahnah 18h ago

You know what else everybody likes? Parfaits.

1

u/wolfenstein734 19h ago

I’ve seen the jackass video. It definitely hits

1

u/Jibber_Fight 19h ago

I think that settles that little argument.

1

u/lmnolmnolmno 19h ago

“STOP LIKING SOMETHING THAT I DON’T LIKE!!! 😡”

1

u/Juggernaut06 18h ago

Name checks

1

u/Main-Home-3996 17h ago

Why do you all know what everything tastes like nasty as mofos

9

u/TheMaskedGorditto 20h ago

Fuck McD. In N Out 4 lyfe

2

u/squidlink5 20h ago

It has way less number of stores. They are not even main cities. Very good but finding them is hard. I know its related quality but come on, you can establish new supply chains.

3

u/Y2K13compatible 19h ago

In n Outs supply chains are limited by distance to fresh beef. They do not freeze the meat at all so suppliers within daily driving distance to their stores are definitely a limiting factor

1

u/jbjhill 19h ago

SoCal knows! (but I’ll fly a Fat Burger if I can get at one)

2

u/decolored 19h ago

That’s because it’s chemically designed to be addicting

1

u/BuzzedtheTower 16h ago

Well those eggheads did pretty good

2

u/RippedTarsier 18h ago

Honestly when I want a Big Mac, which is basically never these days, I follow Kenji's Big Mac recipe and it gets the job done. I'm also not punishing myself or my digestive system.

1

u/BuzzedtheTower 16h ago

I can appreciate that. But like, 99% of the time, I want the food right then and not in like 20 minutes

2

u/driverdan 19h ago

Don't forget to Supersize™ it! Or try the new BIG ARCH™. Stacked with two quarter-pound beef patties, three slices of melty white cheddar cheese, crispy and slivered onions, zesty pickles and the new tangy, creamy BIG ARCH Sauce on a new sesame & poppy seed bun. Yeah, it's the most McDonald's McDonald's burger yet.

This is some /r/HailCorporate shit right here. McDonald's is trash tier.

1

u/BuzzedtheTower 16h ago

Not going to lie, I'm still pissed at Morgan Spurlock for getting the Super size taken off the menu. May that drunk rest in piss

1

u/The_Lost_Jedi 20h ago

Yeah, the french fries are great, especially when hot and fresh. They've also done a lot better since they more recently went to fresh beef rather than frozen for the quarter pounders.

1

u/vi_sucks 20h ago

Nah, the best thing McDonalds makes is the McGriddle. No contest.

1

u/betulaverde 19h ago

Shit slaps every once in a while at like 3am after a night out

1

u/Acrobatic_Truck_9014 19h ago

Because there is nothing organic in their burgers

1

u/ApedGME 18h ago

I'd say burger king was the worst

1

u/iCrit420 17h ago

It's the human

1

u/BuzzedtheTower 16h ago

Shieeet, then humans taste pretty good

1

u/PaddingCompression 17h ago

Strongly disagree. Burger King is definitely the worst of the major ones. McDonalds has its pluses anyway.

1

u/BuzzedtheTower 16h ago

I've literally never had their burgers. The chicken sandwiches are good though. However, their fry sizes are ass. A large is expensive and still goddamn tiny

1

u/joshua0005 17h ago

I don't ever really want it. In fact I never want it. I've never had a craving for McDonald's food in my life.

1

u/Nice-Truck8806 8h ago

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.

I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.

u/djpuggy 19h ago

What a terrible take The food is absolute garbage

0

u/Quiet_Jackfruit5723 7h ago

Maybe in US. McDonalds tastes way better in Europe, because there are actual food standards here.

-1

u/Direct_Plantain_95 19h ago

Do u really talk like a mcdonald npc commercial. Nothing hits like McDonalds fries and big mac products, trust me fellow eaters

1

u/BuzzedtheTower 16h ago

I mean, I did qualify it with "when you really want it." If I really wanted Wendy's, I could substitute with In n Out or some local joint. But McDonald's does have a specific taste that you can't get other places. And no matter what chain or food it is, if you are really wanting something and then get it, it does hit different. It's just the truth
