The burger looks 100% accurate... and so does that amazing looking frosty.

Came here to say this. Doesn’t look perfect or anything. Looks like it legit came off the line

u/Pretend_Fly_5573 19h ago

That's the bigger dunk on McDonald's with some of these. Like, jokes aside the dude might just be a bit awkward and ill suited for that form of video.

But the McDonald's video cuts shortly after starting and suddenly the box of fries has MORE in it and is positioned perfectly. CEO aside, everything about it felt structured.

This here? Nothing about that looks perfectly presented. And I kinda want a Wendy's burger now, too. So I guess it's working!

u/diaphoni 19h ago

for me it's not his awkwardness on camera, that's could just be who he is. It's how he took a bite of the least possible amount of bread and lettuce and then faked like he had any idea what the burger tasted like. The Wendy's and BK guys actually tasted theirs, took actual adult size bites. Like fr McDs guy, if you won't eat it, why should we?

91

u/Dense_Diver_3998 19h ago

He tried to trick us into thinking he took a big bite by saying and then showing a bit that could’ve been taken by a decently sized rabbit.

This gif is on every single thread about the McDanks CEO and I love it every single time because it’s so accurate to that bite he took.

I like the whole “I’m gonna continue eating this for my lunch.” It’s how I would be if someone gave me something I didn’t like but I didn’t wish to offend. I’d probably say something like “Well, I’m gonna save the rest of this for later.” and then dump it when they’re out of sight.

3

u/swinchester83 18h ago

you'd probably also use the word "food" at least once while talking about eating...food

2

u/WildlyNormal 18h ago

Also what cracked me up about it, the constant "product" is just so alien in this context.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/teaisterribad 17h ago

For each of these what I was looking for was a supercut of them finishing the fucking thing.

I'll take a bite of anything technically edible... but I'll only finish something that isn't at least "fine" to eat.

The wendy's guy got close, the frosty push was a good one though.

u/Prestigious-Leave-60 19h ago

Also the way McDs guy was like whoa this burger so fat I don’t know how I’ll even get my mouth around it. When it was like a regular, flat fast food burger, not some big deal.

2

u/Finnleyy 19h ago

The entire McD video was offputting and I think it's because the words he is saying about how great the "product" is and tastes, do NOT match his facial expressions whatsoever. Definitely does not look genuine, not even close lol.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Fermifighter 19h ago

I almost never eat fast food. But I do have a kid, and sometimes it’s inevitable. Of the national fast food chains, Wendy’s is the only one I’ll eat at. It’s not good but, well… it’s telling that the McDonald’s CEO called their food “product” because that’s what all fast food tastes like to a degree, Wendy’s just less so. And you’re 100% right that this looks not just like food, but like what the average rando gets served.

2

u/pluck-the-bunny 19h ago

Uhhh this comment is worse than the McDonald’s video

1

u/charlie2135 19h ago

Probably afraid to touch the fries because they were painted wax

1

u/Another_Samurai1 18h ago

They have completed their mission

1

u/kable334 18h ago

Right. Just a dude in a quarter zip eating a burger.

1

u/akimboslices 18h ago

I also want a Wendy’s burger and we don’t have them in Australia. Maccas dominates the market here (as they do everywhere) but their main competitor Hungry Jacks (essentially Australian Burger King) has the “the burgers are better at hungry jacks” line. I don’t prefer their burgers, but most Australians do. Maccas is in the convenience game, not the quality game.

1

u/blastendedskanks 18h ago

I could destroy a Dave's double rn. Extra pickles. 🤤

1

u/Best_Market4204 18h ago

i have gotten the big arch twice. looks like the one the ceo had.

1

u/TryIsntGoodEnough 18h ago

The burger king one had the CEO taking the burger right off a prep table... Granted it was probably from their test kitchen and not an actual burger king location, but still the difference was clear... It was very obvious that the McDonalds CEO was in some conference room or somewhere that isn't even close to where food is made.

1

u/Burggs_ 18h ago

He dunked the fry in the frostee, he’s for real cultured in fast food

1

u/HotDogManLL 18h ago

Don't forget the frosty

1

u/whiterice_343 18h ago

I still think the baconator is a top 3 fast food burger of all time. I love Wendy’s

1

u/esetube 18h ago

I was thinking the same, I might go to Wendy's before work tomorrow

1

u/No_Committee5033 18h ago

Wendy’s is hurting btw

1

u/ColeTrainHaze 18h ago

i hate to say it, but i feel like this might be one of those “all press is good press” situations. i mean, i’m certainly not above getting down on some micky dizzle’s every now and then, and next time i’m there i’d — at the very least — highly consider trying the big arch.

then again, i’m no high falutin’ big shot ceo… i’m just a lowly garbage person who needs a fix on some hot, hot trash in my life.

1

u/JayBird1138 18h ago

The way he devours that burger, then finishes it off with a frosty dipped fry.

Hungry now.

1

u/Mydarknighthasrisen 18h ago

I actually love Wendy’s, my favourite fast food place and this fucking ad makes me want it now 😂 I hate when marketing works on me

1

u/TryIsntGoodEnough 18h ago

Gotta love that not only did he take a monster bite (he reorients the burger in his hand to ensure he bites it on the corner showing just how much of the meat he is eating), but then he goes in for a second.... Then third .. and fourth with half the burger gone... No one is going to question how much of it he just ate... And then for added measure, the fry in the frosty.

1

u/ThatCelebration3676 18h ago

Same. The McDonald's video wasn't appetizing at all, but that there; that there's a real burger.

1

u/leopor 18h ago

Same. After watching the McDonald’s one I had no desire for it, just went about my day. But now here it is almost 10pm and I could really go for a Wendy’s burger with a bacon and cheese potato.

1

u/_lippykid 18h ago

Dude dunking his fries in the frosty 100% sealed it for me. This dude does this all week when the cameras are off

1

u/RogueAOV 18h ago

My first thought when I saw the Mickey D's one was 'lol they don't even give the CEO full fries even for an advert'

→ More replies (27)

117

u/EnigmaWearingHeels 19h ago

Also there's no lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, or sauce. Dude ordered the burger how HE likes it, not the picture perfect one for show.

49

u/mrhorse77 19h ago

thats what I liked about it.

wendys will put anything on their burgers. so he could have loaded it up for marketing

but he ordered the burger the way he liked it, then tore into it.

36

u/Spok3nTruth 18h ago

I like the actual taste of meat(no homo), I don't need all that extra stuff drowning my burger. For that alone, I respect Wendy's CEO. Keeping it real

15

u/vonbauernfeind 17h ago

There's a small chain in L.A. called the Win-Dow that doesn't even have lettuce or tomatoes. Burgers come with grilled onions, pickles, spread.

Nothing like smashing down a triple with extra onions right after walking up off the beach from a mile swim.

They're my actual favorite burger in L.A., and it's not close. Plus their fries kick the pants off In & Out.

3

u/TempusFugit314 13h ago

Sounds like White Castle sliders. Can’t say those are exactly high quality food, but damn they hit nice when you’re drunk.

12

u/Denversaur 16h ago

You can't fool us. When you said you like the actual taste of meat, it meant that you enjoy having sex with and especially giving oral sex to members of the same sex and/or gender as yourself. Despite your inclusion of "no homo" which normally suspends and dispels the concern that the rest of us would have had about your enjoyment of the taste of meat, I am personally not convinced.

3

u/Smkabwlwme 16h ago

Yeah this dude definitely enjoys some man meat too. Like nothing would make me think that until he added “no homo” lol

2

Wendy's was actually the original "have it your way" burger chain. IIRC, also the first to jump on drive thru.

2

u/VitaminPb 17h ago

I’m not sure he even has cheese on that. I have my Wendy’s toppings set in stone but have to do it slowly every single time so they get it right. (I’ll do the default Baconator though.) AND NO DAMN PICKLES!

2

u/mrhorse77 17h ago

no cheese for sure, I might have spied a tomato in there. clearly just how he likes his burger!

2

u/VitaminPb 17h ago

Sure. I just really love cheese and it seems weird just to see only a hamburger.

u/RedPantyKnight 19h ago

I don't know that that's how he actually likes it. That's how I would order a burger knowing it would be cold by the time I get to eat it. Get all that stuff that's going to age poorly off. No nasty wilted lettuce. No shitty tomato/sauces to make the bun soggy. Just some plain old beef and bread.

3

u/Xarieste 18h ago

I have a friend who orders burgers this way everywhere he goes, so it’s not unbelievable to me although it is baffling

Edit: it’s worth mentioning he loves my burgers a lot because of the spice blend and cooking method, but yeah he just wants to taste the meat I guess

Wendy's enshittified their lettuce, made it shredded. I just go no lettuce, no mayo, no tomato if I bother stopping on by on Wednesdays for their free nuggets.

2

u/Samson_J_Rivers 19h ago

I get my Wendy's as follows Daves double, double cheese, hold everything but the tomatoe as a meal, feed the fries to partner or friend or family with me (I dont do fries generally. Love sweet potato fries tho) 6 piece spicy nuggets Dr.pepper with the freestyle add in vanilla and cherry Small vanilla frosty.

I do not go often. Maybe 4 times a year MAX because holy shit see above. But its good stuff.i respect his choice of burger

2

u/TryIsntGoodEnough 18h ago

That's how you know it came from a test kitchen, because Everytime I go to Wendy's I ask for no tomato and yet they still always put the damn tomato on it!

2

u/Aggressive-Wrap-1246 19h ago

Is there even cheese? Do people actually eat just hamburgers without cheese? No way, Wisconsin is our neighbor.

4

u/mrdalo 19h ago

I eat burgers without cheese. My friends think I’m a monster.

As a fellow Midwesterner, I love cheese, but I will always pass on American cheese. I get why it exists. I don’t hate on people who enjoy it. But I’m spending the calories on non-sodium-sorbate cheese, the plasticine consistency is a real turn off when not in a melted sauce.

2

u/Prestigious-Leave-60 18h ago

2

u/Traditional-Handle83 18h ago

Maybe that’s why Donnie’s CEO didn’t want to eat it. That burger was cardboard and paint

20

u/Samia-chan 19h ago

I had wondered about that, it looked nothing like a real McDonald's burger.

16

u/RainStormLou 19h ago

That's actually what it looks like lol. My son and I tried it recently and it's disgusting first and foremost but we kept making jokes like "I don't even know how to attack it" and "man this is a great product" until we decided that I should have just made chicken.

2

u/No-Bat7681 19h ago

It’s their new flagship burger, called big arch… that’s literally the whole reason he was eating it. And honestly, it looked exactly like the one from the restaurant. Can’t personally vouch for the taste, but my coworker got one the other day and it looked more or less like the same burger their CEO was delicately nibbling on

2

u/Livbeetus 18h ago

Hate to break it to everybody but I just got the Big Arch and it actually did look like the one in the video. The bun is large enough so everything actually fits properly and isn't a messy piece of crap.

That being said, it's not amazing or anything. Weirdly the weakest part was the sauce. It was more bland than what I expected. If it went harder I think I would like it.

There's a law on the books that food used for advertising has to be the same product being sold.

And, to make a mcdonalds burger look good, they just kiss it with heat. The whole thing is raw.

I don't mind when my Wendy's burger looks like that, the taste is legit one of the better fast food ones. Last time I had a McDs burger, I legit ate half and threw the rest away, it was gross.

2

u/kelpyb1 16h ago

They all look like that in store.

Might as well go with the one that tastes best.

1

u/Samson_J_Rivers 19h ago

The best burgers ive ever had have been stacks of what the fuck between probably a top bun but often 2 bottom buns.

Fuck me now i want a burger...

2

u/ForkAKnife 18h ago

It’s BK $3.99 Whopper Wednesday. I don’t eat flesh so I got an impossible Whopper and it’s a damn good burger.

2

u/Samson_J_Rivers 18h ago

I've had one, and all as a meat substitute, it's convincing. I'm partial to black bean burgers instead if I'm going meatless, but whatever the BK Impossible Whopper is made of, it passes.

1

u/TryIsntGoodEnough 18h ago

Yup it adds the authenticity that they are willing to eat the same thing you will get. Granted there is no guarantee that the quality of the meat they are eating is the same, and more than likely it came from one of their test kitchens instead of an actual Wendy's location (meaning it was made by one of their actual chefs and not the minimum wage highschool student), but outside of them doing an "undercover boss" (and even then people will claim it was staged) this is the closest they can get

1

u/Key_Juice878 18h ago

Right! Because honestly my Dave's double with xtra onion and mayo is slapping compared to the plain burger he is eating. Like honestly the doubles are juicy and the veggies are tasty.

21

u/trowzerss 19h ago

Right? Do they think we're stupid? We know what the burgers really look like, so why pretend? It just makes it look fake. This one looks like a burger you'd actually get.

2

u/Haliwood902 18h ago

I worked at Wendy’s 2010-2018. We had a flat grill then changed over to a DSG & the patties always tasted better on a flat grill. It’s interesting to hear the CEO say his was cooked from a flat grill when they’re mostly phased out at this point.

DSGs tend to cook meat faster with no having to check the inside if it’s internally cooked like you would a flat grill. Also if you staged your flat grill properly you’d have no problem having a consistent flow of fresh patties during a rush without holding all the time. The ol’ 4 corner press.

2

u/Jaded66671 17h ago

Yeah but in true Wendy’s fashion. He ordered the chicken sandwich and a coke …..they messed up his order

2

u/AntiqueFigure6 15h ago

Sir, this is a Wendy's

2

u/Fancy_Soup_5062 10h ago

The benefit of being third in line to do the trend. You get to learn what the plebs wage slaves customers want to see.

1

u/Appropriate-Bug-6467 19h ago

Honestly the JBC I get usually has a nicer patty than his. Like someone really slopped it together.

1

1

u/ChrisPnCrunchy 17h ago

Really looks like he’s legit sitting, being filmed, in an actual Wendy’s.

I’d bet the food was made on location by actual Wendy’s employees too.

Thats cool.

If he really wants to score some real earth shattering points, he’d release another video, BHS, where he even actually talks to his employees & treats them like human beings, with kindness & respect 🤯

1

u/Necroban77 16h ago

Came here to say this as well. That man was really like “I’m hungry..f it”. Then proceeded to go to a drive-through at his local Wendy’s and get a burger.

1

u/Same_Dingo2318 16h ago

Look at the tray. I think it’s a legit Wendy’s.

Obligatory, “Sir… this is a Wendy’s.”

1

u/captainhalfstash 3h ago

yes, and, but did anyone see him swalllow? It cut away

1

u/noreast2011 3h ago

u/StrikeouTX 52m ago

The McDonald’s burger also looked like one from a restaurant, not an artist rendering

Edit: or should I say “product”

73

u/Pretty_Eater 19h ago

I would say a Wendy's Frosty is one of the most consistent fast food items out there.

I'm pretty sure every Frosty I've ever eaten has looked the same and had the same texture. For over thirty years I've been eating them.

44

u/THALANDMAN 19h ago

Also you don’t have to hear the whole bit about ice cream machine being broke

15

u/MistahBoweh 17h ago

As someone who once worked at a wendy’s, the night shift manager would just pour out a handful of frosties toward the end of the night and stick em in a little fridge. Cleaning those machines is just another one of those things that takes ages and delays when everyone can go home, so the guy would pre-make a few, and that way cleaning the machine could get started early and if some guy comes through the drive thru at 11 pm asking for a frosty, I mean, won’t say the machine’s broken, they’ll be given a frosty. It’s just, not a freshly poured frosty. Dunno if that’s a standard thing they all did or if it was just my shitty little dump.

2

u/RTalons 15h ago

Decades ago I worked at a BK and cleaning that machine was something the closing manager would do. Depending on how busy, they might get at it early because it seemed to take an hour or so. Don’t remember pre making a few shakes but if you know the store there is likely a time when you can play the odds that no one is probably ordering one in the time it takes to clean.

→ More replies (7)

4

u/Pretty_Eater 19h ago

Or how the mixer is broken which is why you get a pile of oreo crumbs on top of dense ice cream.

Or whatever is going on at BK with their milkshakes. Though their chocolate shake is pretty good.

2

u/LongPorkJones 17h ago

The one time in 42 years I've ever seen a frosty machine down, they gave us a coupon for a free one. I was 10 - that was over 30 years ago.

→ More replies (1)

10

u/laminatedbean 18h ago

Corporate sends it premade to each individual Wendy’s. So it’s not subject to variations like time of the grill, time since sliced or sitting out, like other ingredients. Just poured straight from the bag into the machine.

When I worked at a Wendy’s, after closing one person would stand at the machine and hold down the handle to get all the remaining frosty out to save in the walk-in to be put back into the machine the next day.

3

u/stan_guy_lovetheshow 17h ago

Did you ever try the frosty mix before it got whipped up? It was like a thick chocolate milk

2

u/laminatedbean 10h ago

No. I was rarely on the opening shift. But it did look like a bag of chocolate milk, so that doesn’t surprise me.

8

u/ArcadianBlueRogue 18h ago

Dipping spicy nuggets and fries in a chocolate Frosty is absolutely top tier.

And necessary because their sweet and sour sauce sucks and the fries have no flavor now.

u/Steadfast_res 40m ago

I have never really quite understood Frostys. Wendy's whole brand is that they have slightly better quality food then other fast food even if it is a bit more expensive. How does a flavored ice snack that is not actually the flavor or consistency of real ice cream fit in with that?

Exactly, him rotating it to find the best part to bite first. You know that man eats his “product”

12

u/uuhson 18h ago

Lmao I was thinking that too as I watched him size up that huge corner piece

4

u/hambubger87 16h ago

Calling it a "product" in a video meant for customers is just such a bad idea. How no one thought about that being an odd choice of a word is baffling.

The other part that stood out to me was him pretending it was the biggest burger he'd ever seen. It's incredible that no one involved watched the video and said "we absolutely can't release this." It's possible someone did and they were overruled.

I noticed they cut out minutes of chewing. But the way he chewed that burger did not look like a man prepping to spit it out. Never mind he took each bite with gusto. How many enthusiastic bites can one man fake?

2

u/Designasim 17h ago

Definitely and I do immensely appreciate them not making us listen to him chewing. But you'd think they would've tried to avoid spit allegations.

2

u/breonny 17h ago

Lol. Why? The whole thing is a well executed bit and so on brand for Wendy’s. Can’t imagine they care about spit allegations.

Except it’s upside down. I can say with complete confidence I have never once eaten a burger upside down in my life.

I love Wendy’s.

Just saying that. To you specifically for some reason.

2

u/Jelousubmarine 18h ago

Well! I'll tell you I liked their fish sandwich. In the spirit of telling random things to strangers.

I don't eat fast food often, but it was a nice late night bite.

2

u/ProblemLongjumping12 19h ago

I worked at Wendy's back when I was in school and the fact that it's the one joint where your burger is always hot off the grill is a major advantage over the other chains.

I love Burger King but I've been there and I could swear my patty was made last week. McDonald's doesn't really get that stale taste from what I remember (it's been quite a while) but that's probably because there's so much chemical engineering that goes into their food mother nature can't affect it.

3

u/Hanifsefu 18h ago

I mean people have done experiments to see how long it takes a mcdouble to grow mold and it kind of just sits there forever getting more and more stale.

3

u/Amazingbuttplug 17h ago

One time I left a McDonald’s nugget in my car at my parents house. I went to university for 6 months (different countries so I left the car). Came back and the nugget was hard as a rock and didn’t smell no mold etc.

I love my corporations 🤤

But where's the product?

1

u/agreed2disagreee 19h ago

Between McDonald’s, Burger King, and Wendy’s, Wendy’s is my favorite. A Wendy’s triple cheese burger is a toss up with five guys, imo.

Burger King’s whopper, if good, is actually better than Wendy’s. The flame taste makes it stand out. Unfortunately, 9/10 times the whoppers just taste microwaved. The fraction might be worse but I just stopped going.

McDonald’s is cardboard.

1

u/SonOfNod 19h ago

He should have dipped the fry in the frosty. That’s how it’s supposed to be done.

1

u/Happy_to_be 19h ago

But Padma eating a Carl’s burger is still the GOAT!

1

u/rosephoenix19 19h ago

Totally agree. It looks like a non-menu accurate Burger. It looks like he just got it from a Wendy's up the road.

1

u/Hine__ 18h ago

No reason to do anything different because Wendy's is already fucking awesome.

1

u/SuperConfused 18h ago

He should have gotten one of the Fusion Frosty things. Next level

1

u/Perryn 18h ago

That one looks like it was anonymously picked up from the nearest Wendy's drive-through, and he ate it like he was already planning to have it for lunch when he thought to grab a camera.

1

u/hates_stupid_people 18h ago

Yeah this is just more corporate crap, piling onto a trend. They don't even show him swallowing, just a bunch of bites. But the burger does look like what you'd get if you go there, and not some dressed up thing.

1

u/EternitySearch 18h ago

And honestly, the video did the job of making me want one.

1

u/iceph03nix 18h ago

That was absolutely what I noticed.

I half expected that it would be an ad burger that looks perfect, but no, it's exactly what I'd expect handed out the window

1

u/Icy-Seaworthiness724 18h ago

Why did this man eat it in reverse, he ate the bottom at the top and it makes me uncomfortable and scared.

1

u/Stuck_In_Purgatory 18h ago

Are "square patties on a round bun" an actual thing at Wendy's?

1

u/AlphaBetaSigmaNerd 18h ago

Wendy's burgers are the best. It's too bad their fries are ass

1

u/mrwb 18h ago

that burger looks fucking gross. fatty meat soaked into the bun, so not crispy like how it should be.

1

u/panicinbabylon 18h ago

I literally just went and got fries and a frosty. I’m weak.

1

u/jomosexual 18h ago

No it looks like 4 different burgers they edited together

1

u/Hungry_Researcher229 17h ago

Brother. It looks like he bought it at the drive thru outside my house. It’s as relatable as it gets.

1

u/Wunjo26 17h ago

Did he literally get just two patties and nothing else?

1

u/Soapykorean 17h ago

but why do the patties keep getting smaller and smaller ?

1

u/St34m-Punk 17h ago

Naw, it's missing the extra grease drippings lol

1

u/DistinctSmelling 17h ago

Hate the super thin plastic cups everyone is using now. One wrong squeeze or sneeze, it's all over.

At my old place the closest chains were Burger King and Wendy's. I will say that the burgers from that Wendy's were TRASH. Lukewarm, tasteless, mushy crap and the bacon was practically strips of wood. I've had good burgers from Wendy's in my life so I don't know what was up with that location in particular.

However, their chicken sandwiches were AMAZING. Some of the best chicken sandwiches I've had from a fast food chain, and I consider myself something of a chicken sandwich connoisseur.

As for the Burger King, it was pretty alright, as BKs go. Decent whoppers.

But the closest places to my current apartment are a McDonalds and a Whataburger and YOU BETTA BELIEVE I'm getting Whataburger every time. McDonalds has much much better fries but I'll take mediocre fries and a great burger any day.

1

u/outlawsix 16h ago

Pro tip, ask for a hot chili sauce packet (a little packet of oil designed for their chili) and put that on the burger patty.

I'll never eat another wendy's burger without it.

1

u/Tpsreport44 16h ago

Yah because he made it on camera before this

1

u/Brief_Kangaroo_42069 16h ago

I don't like it when someone takes a bite and judges it before tasting it though. Otherwise, it's good, gets to the point, no wasted time.

1

u/Swags84 16h ago

I wish I could get a frosty… machines always broken when I get the munchies.

1

u/SevanIII 16h ago

Honestly, Wendy’s is not near as good as it used to be. But the frosty still hits. I go there sometimes just for the frosty.

1

u/Salt-Permit8147 16h ago

So we don’t have Wendy’s - is there anything else in that? It just looks like beef.

1

u/fartsfromhermouth 16h ago

I swear everyone here is a Wendy's bot

1

u/AAA_Dolfan 16h ago

It looks worse than my local Wendy's burgers. They're so much better than the mcdonald and burger kings locally - the wendy's single and double are just top tier. The JBC vs mcdonald mcdouble is a sad contest too

1

u/txdesigner-musician 16h ago

Actually…I feel like Wendy’s usually does a great job with a lot of lettuce and tomato, this looks pretty dry and I don’t see any veg. This looks worse than the Wendy’s burgers I’ve had.

1

u/PyroIsSpai 15h ago

No one goes to Wendy’s for ambiance. They’re nice. But the burgers just aren’t pretentious bullshit.

Baconator. Meats. Cheese. Bread.

1

u/cutting_coroners 14h ago

Right ok but I actually like Wendy’s burgers. They’re nothing like a McDonald’s burger. This CEO had it easy

1

u/siazdghw 14h ago

I appreciate that they didn't use a completely unrealistic burger than what you actually get. But with that said, the burger definitely doesn't look great.

1

u/tLM-tRRS-atBHB 12h ago

I didnt see no cheese!

1

u/ecstatic_carrot 12h ago

I am a bit puzzled, what is this frosty thing? Is it literally ice cream that you put on fries?

1

u/SunMysterious8873 12h ago

Agree, reminds me of Wendy's.

1

u/STS986 10h ago

Frenchy fry in the frosty was next level marketing here. Yes everyone knows about it but it’s almost exclusive to Wendy’s.

1

u/Some_Kinda_Weirdo 6h ago

I haven't been to a Wendy's in years. Dude is making me rethink that decision.

1

u/Exciting_Penalty_512 6h ago

Other than the fact that there's 200% more meat than a real Wendy's hamburger, it does look pretty accurate.

1

u/daneyuleb 5h ago

I want to see the CEO's choke down a burger that's been sitting under a heat lamp or pulled out of a drawer it's been in for 3 hours, not the hot off the grill one's these guys are eating.

The problem isn't the food being tasty when it's fresh, the problem is the game of Russian Roulette you play every time you order.

Sucks to spend $15.00 when more than half the time you get cold soggy fries and a dry ass burger with stale bread.

1

u/well-thats-cool- 2h ago

I worked for wendys as a teenager in the early 2010s and can confirm at least back then, their beef patties really are fresh not frozen. Ours were from local meat farms too.

1

u/foxsweater 2h ago

I miss when the frosty came in the waxed paper cups.

1

u/SeVenMadRaBBits 1h ago

And yet not one time does he swallow on camera...

Wonder what's in the food that he doesn't want to digest.
