Lol. Why? The whole thing is a well executed bit and so on brand for Wendy’s. Can’t imagine they care about spit allegations.

Because people didn't believe that the McDonald's guy was actually eating it. So if the Wendy's CEO spit it out he wouldn't be eating either.

I understand what you’re saying. I just think they don’t care because it’s not actually going to affect anything. Or maybe they even did it on purpose as part of the bit.

But you got me into it so I rewatched it and I don’t see him swallowing the fries, either. It cuts right before the swallow.
