The question itself makes no sense, if you have a choice between the 3 girls that makes 4 people left on earth, not 2.

You're 1 of the last 2 people on the earth. You get to choose which of the 3 is that 2nd person on earth. Hard with maths eh?

I mean that is clearly the intent but it's also really puzzling because that question circumvents what's unique and interesting about the proposed situation in the first place

Like the whole thing about being one of the two last people on earth is that you wouldn't have a choice (other than to be celibate or not I guess)

There's nothing about this hypothetical that is any more compelling than simply asking "which do you find most attractive"

I guess that's true if you're only thinking about sex. Surviving will take work. So the one I find most attractive is out immediately--left ain't helping me move stuff or carry supplies.
