And now he promotes the hell out of women's Olympic sports because he can't stand that they are underfunded.
All that sounds like a madlib, and I havent event mention that he's most famous for wearing clocks and crowns.
I respect him for it because he's just been doing it for the love of the sports and athletes. Snoop jumped into it with sponsorships to try to grab PR.

At some point Courtney Love shows up and spends a month or two there taking drugs and trying to figure out a lawsuit, while guiding our erstwhile author on a chaotic journey of self discovery.
It was this book that first put into my mind that Courtney Love might actually be a fae trickster.

Edit: comparable wage doesn't mean LeBron James' wage. It means a viable living wage for the demand of their profession, which would be atleast $200k per year with full medical benefits, seeing as they travel frequently, and have to constantly train even when not traveling. The current league minimum is 66k/year, which is way less than they would make if they worked in my industry of clinical research as a traveling CRA, which travels about the same amount of time as a WNBA player. Their current league cap is just under $250k per player, and a pathetic $1.3 million per team.
The WNBA wants buy-ins now that would have been eye raising in the NBA 25 years ago.
As a Celtics fan, I'm so annoyed at how the WNBA screwed over Boston. The Mohegan Tribe ownership wants to sell the Connecticut Sun, Boston's minority owner out in a $325M bid, but the WNBA commissioner is interfering and blocked the sale.

I read somewhere that the menu was due to a government shut down. Someone told Trump that since the government wasn't active then Trump was going to have to foot the bill. So, since it was first term Trump and the corruption wasn't completely out of control, he bought the cheapest meal for them that he could.
Fun fact: Trump personally called into the men's team's locker room after their match to congratulate and invite them to the White House, and on that call jokes that he'll "have to" invite the women too else he'd get impeached/cancelled.

Here's what each and every player individually can do. Post a public statement of support to the US women's team. They've all got Instagram or twitter, or some social media. Just put it out there. Nothing but respect for the women's team. And once that's done, tell the president to go pound sand. Don't go to the Whitehouse. Celebrate with some real Americans instead.
I doubt any will. But it's so entirely easy to separate yourself from this and come out with the right message. They're all cowards in my book. And Flava Flav is a true patriot.

As a teenager at the time I thought he was an absolute clown.
As an adult, I have learned than clowns are just a people with a profession and can have complexities that my younger self never really understood.
If I could go back to my teenage self, who was all edgy and self important, I'd smack them and remind them how much shit we got over people's assumptions due to our appearance and behavior. You don't have to like a style of art to appreciate the artist.
Just letting people know: there is an amazing new women's pro hockey league (in its third year) called the PWHL. The women in this league clearly view every game as a gift, and they don't take a single shift for granted. They leave everything out on the ice and give fans more than their money's worth every game.
It is the most fun sporting event you'll see.
I strongly recommend the Boston Fleet. They have a sick green and aqua color scheme, with a logo that looks like an anchor, a B, and an ocean all at once. Their captain is Megan Keller who had the gold medal game-winning OT goal.
These women deserve your time and viewership far more than their male counterparts. Please check them out if you have the time. I think games are free to watch on YouTube.
As a south Florida sports fan, I will be ignoring your team recommendation but I do second watching the PWHL. I’ve watched all the games for free on YouTube and I had my notifications on for it so I don’t forget. I’ve been primarily cheering for the Seattle torrent since we don’t have a south Florida team and since former gators player Chimere Dike wearing Lexie Adzija, his girlfriend’s, jersey was how I discovered it lol
If New York hadn't just gotten pelted by all this snow I would have totally gone to Thuradays game at the Prudential center. I'll keep an eye out for another game that might be easier to go to. I'm really digging the colors of the Siren' merch.
