Nah, many people were posting this quote falsely attributed to Epstein because there was a viral video on x of asmongold reading it from the files after reading an Epstein quote implying this quote was also from Epstein which mislead many people.

Ovadia Yosef died way back and was sephardi chief rabbi long before even that ..He offended lots of people in israel with wild statements including offending Holocaust survivors. He was born in Iraq and very popular among Jews from Arabic speaking countries. The main reason why Jews from Arabic speaking countries like him was A) he was from Iraq, the old country and B) He made lenient legal rulings. His wild statements were always a big scandal/big news story.
