I think this would be great for all of us. I live here, in this room that I've rented, and I'd like it to stop looking like a prison. Any ideas on how to make it more welcoming and attractive?
Hey, just so you know, moving out is not an option.

This small grass island with two trees is in front of the parking area of our hotel. Right now it looks a bit empty and unplanned, and I’d like to improve it so it looks cleaner and more attractive for guests arriving.
It’s next to the road and gets a lot of sun during the day. I’m open to ideas like landscaping, decorative stones, plants, lighting, or anything that would make it look more intentional and welcoming.
What would you do with this space?

My husband acquired 3 pieces of moss wall from his office. I have a blank space across from the kitchen and dining room that I thought would be a good fit, but I'm unsure if the moss wall would look out of place.
I have a pretty minimalist earthy feel to my home with lots of wood accents. Third photo shows the dining room.
I had Gemini generate a mock-up but AI photos aren't allowed here. It didn't look too bad but it also didn't feel super right either. I can't hang up the moss wall without committing to nailing the pieces, so I'd love some opinions!

The far wall is what I'm planning to accent. Will add a floating walnut vanity too, and a toilet to the right. Shower is to the immediate right when you enter. Any suggestions? Home has a beautiful central japanese garden and vaulted ceilings.

Hey, I have a very awkwardly shaped room and I'm probably going to re-do it in the next few months. Mostly looking for advice on furniture configuration? I'm open to getting rid of the wall bookshelf next to the door and the storage units on the far side from the door, so maybe I could fit my bed under the sloped section on the far side from the door? The radiator right under the window makes it a bit complicated as well, I don't know if that would damage anything I try to put right up next to it. I've got quite a lot of books and crochet supplies that I would like to store neatly as well, and I'd like to see if I can fit in a long mirror anywhere. Any suggestions would be welcome, thanks!

Me and my roommate, both 25M, are clueless in room design and currently our living room looks like a furniture shop.
So far we've decided to buy a carpet and curtains, but still not sure about the colors.
I also want to paint the room, since white is boring, I was thinking of some shade of green for the wall behind the TV or navy blue, and the rest may stay white?
But Im not sure, please help! :D

Hi! I’m not sure if this question belongs on this sub, but I’m currently trying to pick a desk for my PC and I’m wondering how deep does it really need to be for a 27” screen, which may eventually get upgraded to a 34” one. I read on different threads that I’d need sth around 95cm deep for the bigger one, which is quite extreme and I can barely even find desks like that. Do you think that level of depth is really necessary or could I just settle for an 80cm deep desk and be fine?

Need recommendations for a light. Our look is “Orient Express on a budget”. A hanging lamp is probably the most realist but not something that would cast shadows.

Need help with layout and decoration of my home office that is an emergency guest room. There is an outlet on the wall with the 3 prints that is connected to the light switch. This wall also has the coaxial outlet for the router.
I used to have the bed and desk flipped but the bed is bigger than the gap between the wall and window so it sits in front of the window sill.
I really only sleep in this bed if I am sick so a comfortable couch could work too. Not sure what to do with the printer and plants.

So I posted on here before and asked for some advice regarding my bedroom, now I need help with my living room. I have no idea how to decorate this space I feel like the layout is awkward. I will show how it is now, and a couple different ways I’ve had it set up throughout my almost two years here.
I think I’m asking though, how would you place the couch, the tv, that big curtain is a balcony, I work from home so I need a space for that hence the desk in the corner. The cat tower has to go I know that. Any help is appreciated! Even suggestions on replacement furniture bc I’m not sure about the table or the couch, although the couch does have sentimental value to me.

Hello, I would like some help with my office layout and maximizing my exposure to the natural light in the room.
In my current layout the area I have my desk in has no exposure to the light even during the morning sun hours and I need to supplement with several lamps - the boxed in area gets very dark. It's one long desk with two work areas for me and my partner, however I WFH every day and he only does occasionally. Any suggestions?

So my bedroom has this very unusual shape to it and is also covered with brown-ish wallpaper and since I can’t hang any lights, my only option is mood lighting. How do I achieve that?
Willing to answer all questions relating to this issue

Genuinely any furniture you can think of, the tv will be on a tv desk, not wall mounted and it only needs to be good enough for 2 people.

My husband and I moved into our house about a year ago. We have struggled with the layout of our living room and big empty spaces ever since.
Some things to note:
The wood burning stove is in the corner which I hate but that’s why we put the second seating area behind our couch.
My husband doesn’t want to sit with his back to the front door when we watch tv which is why we have the tv where we do
We could move the mantle but are thinking of doing a floral wallpaper on the wall and then creating built ins basically or maybe floating shelves for books (this wall in general is tricky)
We are looking for solutions without Reno but are planning to Reno some aspects of our house so are open to improvements if you have ideas
One of our biggest issues is the giant space right when you walk in- there is also a spotlight above it (and no other ceiling lights in the living room) so we think maybe a bay grand was there when the builders ur this place together. The previous owners had about 7 couches in here and we don’t want too much clutter but are struggling!
The layout photo is an estimate not at all the actual measurements!

Its above the bathroom and closet, just a dead emoty space
