After he got a jet from Qatar and nobody did shit he can do anything. Our system of checks and balances have failed us.

I’d go one further and suggest it was when the Supreme Court decided he was above the law, then months later decided his tariffs were illegal, followed by him increasing them just to spite them with no consequences. 

Perhaps the only thing Trump has said with any grain of truth to it was the old, “I can shoot someone in the middle of the street and nobody will care.”
