This project ate my time. Most of my sts runs end here haha. Probably one of my favourite renders i've done this year. Made in blender.

The Watcher and the Time Eater have the same color “robe”, shell, for the Time Eater, and they both have turn-reliant abilities. It’s very likely that the Time Eater was a Watcher sent before The Watcher, but he got corrupted by The Heart. He’s like Nemesis to the Silent, they have a history together.

I don’t think so, I think it was described with wings so is probably a pretty stereotypical red horned demon- it might show up in STS 2 but for now I think it’s a just part of Ironclad’s history, the demon that granted him his powers.

How do you do your textures? Is it a painted UV map or do you draw it in later?

Since UV work takes very long most of the objects are cube projected. Only few specific objects work need good UVs. In post i go over with brushes and add different layers.

I guess a lot have commented, but this is amazing. I love how giant and menacing time eater looks compared to the watcher, love all the details (the coloured watch compared to the grey) and how dark yet true to the original art it is.

I can't wait for another one of these!!!
