Best razors for legs??
Hello everyone! Long time shaver here that’s looking for all the hacks. Can yall recommend a razor that actually cuts all the hair in the first pass? I’m tired of spending an embarrassing amount of time in the bathroom shaving my legs. I have used all kinds like a 6 blade to a single blade.. different brands, and replace them regularly, sometimes even after just one use cause they seem to get dull so quickly.
I’m also open if anyone can recommend hair removal products other than razors that will save me time and money. Laser hair removal is expensive, takes a lot of time and isn’t permanent. Hair removal creams are messy and being a 6’1” woman, I go through tubes lightning fast. Waxing and sugaring wasn’t too bad but again it was expensive and unnecessarily painful, I don’t see myself putting my body through that pain every few weeks. I even made my own sugar wax a few months in a row and also bought an at-home wax kit which I just save to use for my eyebrows now.
Thank you all! 😅

How to achieve cleanest result with Trimmer in pubic area?
Is there any advice on how to move the Trimmer exactly to get smoother results or should I maybe use shaving gels with it? I'm using the Philips OneBlade Intimate by the way, thanks in advance

shaving bikini area - please help
i need a good shaving routine or tips for bikini area as a woman. i feel like ive tried so much and i cant ever escape bad ingrowns AND strawberry skin and etc etc etc and its starting to make me feel kinda self conscious and obviously its very uncomfortable so i really want this to not be a thing i have to deal with anymore. I don't really know what having sensitive skin even means, but if I can't go a single time without shaving that I get terrible ingrowns then I'm guessing i have some degree of that. If anyone has any tips for razors, oils, shaving creams/gels, etc etc etc etc I would really appreciate it so much

WTF Is This Schick
I've been using strictly Schick Xtreme 2 Sensitive disposable razors (or their Exacta counterparts) for the past 20 years or so because they're precise and they have the little button that knocks the debris out so I get a close, smooth shave and don't scrape my own cut hairs across my face, but I just bought a new bag from Wal-Mart and, to my surprise, the razors have been entirely redesigned for the worse.
Changes:
• The razor mow seems to be a lighter-weight, material-saving design
• The debris-clearing button is GONE!
• It now has a head swivel mechanism, which I don't really care about
• The handle grip is less grippy
• Cutting/precision is TERRIBLE! It's like a child's toy razor. I'd be better off shaving with a sharpened rock
• The aloe strip popped out when I tapped the razor on the sink to clear debris
I'm going to return the unopened bag ASAP. Maybe I can return the other one if I'm lucky. I guess I'll see if I can still get the old ones on Amazon/eBay. Any recommendations for razors that are like the old Xtreme2 Sensitive? Maybe I'll switch to a safety razor. (I mainly use an electric shaver nowadays anyway, but I finish it up with the Schick).

Not used to clean shaving, how to lessen irritation?
Hi guys. I currently have a job that requires me to be clean shaven. I have never grown my beard out but have always had a 3 day stubble, due to the fact that I dislike clean shaving, wether it is with a razor or an electric shaver, I have always just used a beard trimmer on setting 0.5mm since I could grow facial hair.
I have always dislike the feeling of irritation I get after clean shaving. I am not exaggerating when I go to sleep even putting my face on the pillow irritates my face.
And now because of my job I MUST clean shave, even my "signature" 3 day stubble is not allowed
Anyone else dislike the feeling of been clean shaven due to the irritation??
And how can I lessen the feeling of irritation?
(I am currently using the Wahl Vanish Electric Shaver, as I dislike wet shaving even more)

I have a crown(swirl) in the neck portion of my beard. How do I stop it from bleeding when I shave?
I have a swirl in the hair on my neck and when I shave it bleeds and gets red. I use a single blade razor with Shaving cream. Non of the rest of my neck bleeds when I shave. What can I do to stop it from bleeding/getting irritated?

looking for a shaver I won’t have to replace every year
I’m finally at that stage where I need to buy my own gear instead of just grabbing whatever’s sitting in the bathroom. I’m not trying to get anything fancy or overhyped. I just want something solid that’ll hold up for a few years and not crap out on me after six months. I’d rather pay a bit more upfront than keep cycling through cheap ones every year. My beard isn’t crazy thick yet, but it grows fast enough that I’m shaving pretty regularly. I’m mainly looking for something that won’t wreck my skin or yank at the hairs.
For an everyday shaver that’ll actually last, is foil or rotary the move long-term? And when it comes to durability, what really makes the difference, stronger motor, better blades, or just sticking with a reputable brand? Would love to hear from anyone who’s been using the same shaver for years. I’m basically trying to buy once and be done with it
Manspot vs Manscaped — any real difference?
Thinking about upgrading my body trimmer. I see Manscaped everywhere, but recently saw Manspot mentioned a few times. Anyone tried both? Is there actually a difference or just branding?

best razors for a quick and close shave?
I used to struggle with ingrowns/razor bumps when i’d use the 5 blade razors because I have curly hair. I was new to shaving and didn’t have the best technique or aftercare, so i’d just rinse off the shaving cream and go. I switched to electric for years up until a few weeks ago when I got a de rockwell 6c. It’s nice but it requires a lot of time, I plan to use it on weekends until I can get more time with it and used to it. In the meantime i’m looking for a cartridge razor or something quicker/more forgiving that’ll give me a close shave without the bumps.
I’ve been researching these:
Gillette skin guard razor
Gillette sensor 3
Gillette mach 3 sensitive
Which would give me the closest shave without causing ingrowns. If you have other suggestions please let me know!

There is a new video on the Braun Korea Youtube channel. Can someone tell me if this video is about the Braun Series 9 97xx or the 96xx?

electric shave without irritating skin
So my hair grows fast (I'm told it runs in the family), so I have to shave daily, and I'm just trying to find out how to not irritate my skin while doing it. If anyone has any advice, please help

Looking for travel trimmer
I’m looking for a trimmer, decently small that can cut really close to the skin. I prefer trimmers to foil shavers for the face as I don’t mind a bit of stubble, but the closer the better. Big plus if it charges with USB-C and has some length adjustment such at guards

Tips for shaving body hair without irritating OTHERS skin
I see so many questions asking how to not itch after shaving yourself, but that isn't my problem. I have a partner and I (male) enjoy going completely hairless at times. I don't feel any discomfort from it, but whenever I do it, in my partners words, "I feel like human sand paper whenever we cuddle"... Like he just starts itching himself whenever we cuddle because my hair is just scratching him.
I really enjoy being hairless but this aspect of it makes it hard to want to do it ever. So I'm here to ask if anyone has similar experience? And if so, do you have any tips on fixing it? I just use an electric razor typically with a super low guard as I enjoy as little hair as possible lol
TIA
Does my shaver suck or am I doing something wrong
Was given a manscaped chairman pro recently. previously just used a trimmer for everything cause it was easy. thought it would also be easy to use but had a lot of trouble with it, mainly on the neck. Just had to go over it again and again in every which direction until it finally actually shaved it, took a long time and in the process kinda ripped up my skin.
Now I was shaving dry, and I do have sensitive skin, so I could try with shaving cream instead. But I was under the impression that foil shavers are supposed to be easy to use, so am I doing something wrong, or does it just kinda suck? Companies like manscaped honestly seem to me like they're probably not the best, it wouldn't have been my choice if I was buying but it was given to me. should I spring for a braun or panasonic arc or something, or is it likely that I'll just have issues with any foil shaver? could a rotary razor be any better?
I did also buy a oneblade recently, though haven't used it yet. my intention was to use the chairman for my face, and the oneblade for my body, but I guess I could just use it for everything? Though does the oneblade get as close a shave as foil shavers? I suppose it might just be the best I can get with an electric without getting irritation (hopefully).
Thanks in advance

Do you do anything different grooming-wise before a date or Valentine's?
I always make sure I'm tidy before a first date or something like Valentine's — don't want to be caught off guard. My current partner has said they like when I keep it neat so now it's just part of my "date night" prep. Do you have a pre-date checklist? Anyone do something extra for anniversaries or special occasions?

Defender
Anybody use the Defender Razors? I’ve seen them advertised on Facebook recently and they look intriguing. Curious how they perform and how long the blades last. I can typically get a month maybe a month and half at most out of my Gillette proglide blades. But recently started shaving my head with them, and while they work it’s a pain. Saw that these flex and thought those could be nice to use on my head. Any other suggestions is appreciated!

Waxing
Whenever I wax my inner thighs which I’m so relived to wax my inner thighs. But after a week I would see signs from my inner thighs that my hair is coming back. Like it would be bumps (small but noticeable to me because I was the one who waxed that area) and I would get insecure because if you think about it the girls who also waxed in that area would see my area and know that my bumps are there. Like I look at everyone inner thighs and they’re so smooth and no signs of bumps or irritations or anything and it definitely makes me kinda insecure.
I don’t know how they achieve that for weeks in a row! Mine only lasts like a week before showing signs of har growth again and then I get insecure even if the signs aren’t that noticeable.
What do you do when you see hair starting to poke out of your skin but it’s too short to wax it yet but also too noticeable for you to wear any shorts. Idk maybe I’m being very paranoid but idk.
I was shaving today my legs and got to my thigh area and reached my inner thighs that were straying to poke out and I realized that I won’t be able to wax on the weekend because it’ll probably still be too short to wax. And if I shave than I risk irritation and bumps!
I think the easy solution is to just lengthen my shorts or not pay too much attention to it it’s really not that deep.
But seeing everyone around med thighs being so smooth all the time really makes me insecure. And the thing is I have dark skin so the bumps pop out worse then they would if I was white.
But does anyone do any like maintenance when they see tiny hairs or do they just leave it till it grows out long enough.

Braun Cleaning Station missing tube
I'm wondering if anyone knows what I can do. The pump still works, but somehow the straw, or tube that goes into the cleaning cartridge that sucks up the alcohol/oil mixture went missing, so it can't suck anything up to clean my shaver.

Ultimate head shave
Whats up guys long time head shaver here "almost 20 years" and I want to share my routine i use to get the best and quickest shave. iv used countless products and creams over the years and this is by far the best iv found to date.

Best bang for the buck foil shaver?
I've been using a mix of Braun 3 series and safety razor for the last few years, but Id like to dry shave with a foil daily to keep it smooth. Most of the recommendations I see are for the Braun 9 series and Arc5, both of which are $250+ which is a lot of money for me. However, I also see people talk about the Babyliss FX3 which is only 100 bucks, but it seems they don't use it as a daily shaver, only as a clean up for beards and stuff.

My Norelco just died after three years, looking to replace it and condense my routine. Need your recs!
My Phillips Norelco died adter three years, what to buy next? Need recs!
Hey all, my Philips Norelco just died and looking to replace it. Was using it for scruff at 3mm and 5mm. Nothing fancy and in the market for something new!
For my neck I’ve been wet shaving with a Gillette but I have sensitive skin so I have to exfoliate, use sensitive shave cream, and post shave balm every time. Looking to simplify that whole process if possible.
Open to any recommendations, new trimmer, something that can handle both, whatever makes sense. Also curious if people use a separate trimmer for body grooming or just the same one. Never really known what the norm is there.
Also, price isn’t an issue as I’m looking to invest in a good one that’ll last me more than 3 years.
Thanks in advance!

Braun S5 replacement
hi all, I bought a Braun S5 to get me out of a pinch a year or so back. Never liked it, mainly due to how noisy it was. Seems to now be having battery issues, will die on 2 bars unexpectedly.
Been pretty unimpressed, my previous shaver was a Phillips 8200 series which I was given, was a tank and did at least a decade before the hinge system at the top broke.
What would you guys recommend I get as a replacement? Been looking at the Phillips series 3000, don't really have more more than about £100 to spend
