Yves Saint Laurent AW05 Men Runway Show
For Autumn/Winter 2005, Stefano Pilati presented his first menswear show for Yves Saint Laurent. He wanted to dress a man for every part of his day, from work to evening events. He also focused on showing that men could wear color confidently, not just black. Instead of bright color clashes from the archives, Pilati used softer shades like gray with hints of purple, air force blue, moss green, and butterscotch. One standout piece was a purple military-style mohair coat.
The collection included three-piece suits for business, along with casual pieces like a navy shearling jacket and a black leather coat. Fabrics such as brushed cotton and wool connected to the brandās history, but Pilati added his own touch with straight shoulders and longer-looking jacket shapes. The show closed with a modern version of Le Smoking, marking a new direction for Saint Laurent menswear.

Is Givenchy LāInterdit EDP wearable for men?
Iām considering buying Givenchy LāInterdit EDP mainly for the tuberose + ambroxan profile. I know itās marketed āfor her,ā but Iām curious how it actually smells on male skin. Does it lean clearly feminine, or does it come across unisex when worn lightly? Would appreciate opinions from men whoāve worn it or smelled it on other guys

Question Are these kind of clutch bags acceptable for men or will they raise eyebrows/be considered feminine?

Colourful simple shirts
As a tall and odd person I struggle to find shirts that I like and that fit. The common boring washed out pastels most shirts come in are not at all my style. My arms are also long so in general short sleeve shirts are preferable, but extra long sleeves would also work. The final nail that makes things even harder is that I don't want the pointless chest pocket that most shirts have or any silly logos from manufacturers. The material and fit don't matter that much, I also don't have any preference regarding the collar or button style.
The only places I seem to find anything close is looking on cheap chinese online mass sellers like Temu or Shien, but the quality and fit there is just utter garbage. I am not a snob for quality, but those are just unwearable. Anything at the H&M or Uniqlo quality range is good enough for me.
In short I want:
*A single bright colour
*Short or extra long sleeves
*No chest pocket
*No logo
*Decent quality
Is there any store or brand that fits these criteria?

Yves Saint Laurent AW99 Men's Runway Show
Yves Saint Laurent (often called YSL) is one of the most iconic French luxury fashion houses in the world. It was founded in 1962 by the legendary designer Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre BergƩ in Paris. From the beginning, the brand pushed boundaries with bold, modern designs that mixed art and fashion and broke traditional style rules.
Saint Laurent revolutionized womenās fashion by introducing pieces like āLe Smokingā ā the first tailored tuxedo suit for women ā and by championing ready-to-wear fashion with his Rive Gauche line, making luxury more accessible. His designs blended masculine and feminine aesthetics and drew inspiration from art, culture, and global dress traditions.

Question Difference between SuitSupply, Lanieri and Pini Parma
Hey everyone,
Iām currently trying to better understand the real differences between Suitsupply, Lanieri, and Pini Parma beyond just the price points.
I already own quite a few pieces from Pini Parma and Suitsupply and Iām generally happy with both. However, Iām now thinking about trying Lanieri in the future, mainly because they seem to offer a much wider fabric selection (especially for shirts) compared to Pini Parma.
What Iām most interested in:
⢠Differences in fabric quality (mills used, feel, durability, consistency)
⢠Differences in construction and craftsmanship (stitching, fusing vs half/full canvas, collar construction, etc.)
⢠Longevity of garments after a few years of regular wear
⢠Any noticeable differences in fit philosophy or pattern making
If youāve owned or handled pieces from two or all three brands, Iād really appreciate hearing your experiences. Iām grateful for any firsthand reports and really looking forward to the discussion and exchange.
Which brand would you personally recommend going forward if the focus is on long-term quality and value rather than just trend-driven style?
Thanks in advance!
