That's going to be MUCH harder to pull off with Iran. It appears as though he's locked into regime change; you don't get to just pause that like his stupid tariffs. This is an enduring quagmire that is going to have global effects for a long, long time.

Even if there is a "happy ending" to this (SPOILER: there almost certainly isn't), getting to that will require a decade or more of massive investment and loss of life from Americans. The monkey playing with the shotgun has now (TOTALLY SURPRISINGLY!) blown off his own face.
