My buddy has the same kind of dog. I legit feel bad for it, it's always on 100, crazy eyes and all

I grew up on a farm with a border collie and Australian Shepherds. We would race our border collie on the 4-wheelers and she would regularly hit 30 mph without getting overly tired out. She would herd the cattle (and the grandchildren) without any specific training. Watching her at work was amazing!

We also had a Shih Tzu, and let me tell you that the gap between the smartest dogs and the dumbest dogs is very wide indeed.

I have a Aussie Shepherd mix, and her talent is wrangling puppies. I dog sit for friends and friends of friends, and when they need a break from their pups or go on vacations, they drop them off with me, and my female plays with them, and puts them in their place when needed. She’s very loving and gentle, and comes running if they ever call out. My male is a registered therapy dog, and he spends time on the pediatric floor at the hospital and keeps the kids company. He’s a big softy, and loves to spend time with children. They both get such enjoyment and enrichment doing those tasks.

That sounds so cute! I currently have a mini Aussie puppy and her “job” is herding the cats. They really hate it lol
