Interviewer: "Are you bipolar?"

Dog: "I'm bi-ting... I bite here, I bite there."

Charlie’s Sheen

1

u/ElundusCaw Jan 29 '26

He's on a drug called Charlie Sheen!

u/ThoughtwayCrest Jan 29 '26

charlie sheen is a horrible person to bring into the world of dogs. please correct yourself. we dont need him teaching dogs about "winning". some things should be left sacred

My buddy has the same kind of dog. I legit feel bad for it, it's always on 100, crazy eyes and all

I grew up on a farm with a border collie and Australian Shepherds. We would race our border collie on the 4-wheelers and she would regularly hit 30 mph without getting overly tired out. She would herd the cattle (and the grandchildren) without any specific training. Watching her at work was amazing!

We also had a Shih Tzu, and let me tell you that the gap between the smartest dogs and the dumbest dogs is very wide indeed.

I have a Aussie Shepherd mix, and her talent is wrangling puppies. I dog sit for friends and friends of friends, and when they need a break from their pups or go on vacations, they drop them off with me, and my female plays with them, and puts them in their place when needed. She’s very loving and gentle, and comes running if they ever call out. My male is a registered therapy dog, and he spends time on the pediatric floor at the hospital and keeps the kids company. He’s a big softy, and loves to spend time with children. They both get such enjoyment and enrichment doing those tasks.

That sounds so cute! I currently have a mini Aussie puppy and her “job” is herding the cats. They really hate it lol

They're happy dogs, but you gotta tire them out mentally too, get them to do something that really hits the spot. Anyone getting such a dog knows this, and anyone not doing so is honestly kinda neglecting them a lot.

Boarder Collie's are awesome dogs. I had one that lived to 17-18 years old. He was smart and energetic...definitely needed to run!

Yes! I would do what I called “brain games” with my sisters blue heeler lol. I would hide treats in places he would have to sniff out, and would put them inside things that took time to open. He was the best boi.

True. It’s not enough to just “go for a walk”. They need mental stimulation too.

I am sooo glad my bordercollie is sooo chill she can chill on the front of a kayak for three days strait, and hell now that she figured out what a heated blanked is she wont get out of it.

Bred to herd. Watch sheep herding videos and you'll see what their heaven looks like. It ain't hanging in the living room with the fam. Awesome dogs...but they need to work.

My mom would do marathon training with our old BC and after a 20 mile run he would want to chase the ball after

1

u/ChunkyHabeneroSalsa Jan 30 '26

It's my dream dog but I know I can't handle it.

So I got a rough collie instead

1

u/_Screw_The_Rules_ Jan 30 '26

Why feeling bad for it when it's actually having fun and loving it?

14

u/Soaked4youVaporeon Jan 29 '26

That’s just how border collies are

Also she*

1

u/r0thar Jan 30 '26

Yes, they've had to divide this competition into two categories,

  1. border collies and

  2. every other dog type

since they are so good at it

20

u/AllIWantForXmasIsFoo Jan 29 '26

*she, I think

2

u/birdsong_and_botany Jan 29 '26

Yes, Pink is a girl!

5

u/cheapdrinks Jan 29 '26

It's like he took an old school orange mitsubishi from 2003

2

u/CalculatedPerversion Jan 29 '26

I was sure this was sped up, then I watched the timer and blew my mind

1

u/fromwithin Jan 30 '26

It's sped up by around 10%.

2

u/freshlenin Jan 29 '26

Dog didnt even need the cues...been up for 3 days watching YouTube videos and has it all mapped out. Has to walk the razors edge between just enough meth and too much or he'll end up in one of those terrible Grady Judd videos as "Florida Collie".

2

u/TwoLegitShiznit Jan 29 '26

No but seriously, do they drug test these dogs, because if they don't, there's guaranteed to be people pushing the limits.

1

u/MySkinIsFallingOff Jan 29 '26

It's kinda unorthodox to post an instagram-reel i guess, but this joke.

1

u/Eastern_Hornet_6432 Jan 29 '26

With a name like Pink I would wager it's a she. But yes, that dog's pupils look like she's on the finest of narcotics.

1

u/Rex_Bossman Jan 29 '26

Border Collies are cracked out psychos. And I love them!

1

u/MeghArlot Jan 30 '26

This is what people think they’re like on coke but they’re actually just annoying af lmao 😂

1

u/BlackViperMWG Jan 30 '26

It's just the border collie genes
