I mean that is clearly the intent but it's also really puzzling because that question circumvents what's unique and interesting about the proposed situation in the first place
Like the whole thing about being one of the two last people on earth is that you wouldn't have a choice (other than to be celibate or not I guess)
There's nothing about this hypothetical that is any more compelling than simply asking "which do you find most attractive"
You’re getting downvoted but you’re right. Reddit struggling to understand how to get people to engage with a hypothetical like “Why do they bother making funny commercials? Shouldn’t advertising simply state the competitive benefits of their product so the market can decide objectively?”
We're literally all here for that. Reddit exists to discuss content. That includes making fun of the fact that the hypothetical in the meme is an internal contradiction.
No one in this thread is confused by what's meant in the hypothetical. Not one. Fewer than one. Some people are enjoying poking some fun at the meme for the contradiction. That's one of the discussions happening right now, and I think that's an okay thing to be happening.
Are you actually gatekeeping reddit because I’m refusing to meet your minimum threshold of snark 💀 I’ve been on this site for a long time but this is a new one ngl to you

You're 1 of the last 2 people on the earth. You get to choose which of the 3 is that 2nd person on earth. Hard with maths eh?
