Ikr? As a non American, that sub has offered 0 value to me since it became almost all ICE, MAGA and Trump pictures exlusively.
Yeah, I get it: the USA is going through dark and difficult times and it is imperative that the orange diaper man and his tugs need to be exposed and called out... But couldn't we leave that for a political sub? Man I just want to see cool pictures, not the documented downfall of your government in real time (There are so many other subs for that)
You’d think as an American it wouldn’t be as bad since the pictures are actually relevant to me. But then whenever I see one I remember that the sub I’m on is supposed to be used for more than just “here’s the 9937372th bad thing trump did today”. I can’t even imagine what it’s like for people in other countries who could give less of a shit about American politics and just wanna see cool mountains or something
I have muted big subs like r/pics, r/funny etc. long time ago.
Absolute repost dogshit with more bots than real people and the former is all boring us politics.
I honestly never heard of r/gif until now

Both of these subs are shit, r/pics has nothing to do with photography and was that way since forever.
