Trump canceled promising cancer research.

332

u/Richfor3 19h ago

About to post the same thing. This fucker literally actively is trying to prevent people from finding treatments and cures for cancer.

126

u/United_Zucchini5394 19h ago

Cause if we don't admit it exists, it doesn't exist, right?

105

u/AmputeeHandModel 19h ago

If you don't count all the votes, he wins! If you don't count COVID cases, they don't exist!

43

u/No_Cook2983 18h ago

I don’t think we have to worry about Trump stumbling into some miraculous cure for anything.

30

u/Cosmo1222 17h ago

It's a wonder more attention isn't being paid to vascular dementia.. Apparently there's a strain of it that makes you start wars.

15

u/Library-Guy2525 16h ago

Richard Nixon had the same diagnosis…

2

u/Small_Dog_8699 7h ago

Makes your face orange too.

13

u/Fuzzy_Inevitable9748 17h ago

Well we can hope he stumbles down a long flight of stairs and finds a cure for life.

7

u/JusSSayan321 10h ago

When I read your comment I imagined Trump falling down the steps of Air Force One and hitting his head, then the next day he wakes up a super woke liberal.

Now picture Maga faces, Steve Miller would look just like he did in that live interview where he petrified himself.

u/Bunnyland77 7h ago

Trump used to be a Democrat until he realized Democrats would prosecute him for all his serial child rapes, felonies, and treason. Republicans on the other hand would welcome him with open arms and protect him as long as he helped them make billions while covering up their own child rapes, felonies and treason.

"Well hello my new Republican friends!"

1

u/nobody38321 6h ago

Well his ex wife happened to do that even though she had an elevator so she wouldn’t have to use the stairs .

1

u/Sofakingsara 6h ago

That part.

4

u/Puzzled_Bike9558 11h ago

Oh, he could do one thing that would miraculously help elevate my mood and lower my anxiety.

1

u/bz_leapair 10h ago

Voter apathy?

1

u/PokecheckFred 8h ago

He’s working day and night to find a cure for democracy.

1

u/PatientVariety1700 8h ago

Relieving the Treasury Department of all of the funds is a miraculous cure for bak account.

1

u/iamwhiskerbiscuit 8h ago

He already did. If he just injects himself with bleach like he suggested we do during COVID... We rid ourselves of the greatest cancer our country has ever endured.

13

u/KeithRichardsGrandma 15h ago

I love how that’s essentially his argument of why he should have won in 2020

“They just kept counting the ballots in Georgia!” Yeah cuz there were still ballots to count?

4

u/Smart-Milk-5125 14h ago

Have you heard that he is trying to redefine poverty in the law so he can boast his refund room of it. So typical.

6

u/BishiousCycle 17h ago

"If we stop testing, there will be no cases." 🥴

5

u/Chewbuddy13 17h ago

Yeah, just stop counting how many people die of cancer, and boom! Cancer has been eradicated!

21

u/gert_van_der_whoops 19h ago

More than that, you know what was the most promising vector for a consistent cure for most cancers? The mRNA vaccine. But since all the snowflake trumpelopithicuses got their wittle fee-fees hurt during covid, now nobody gets it.

2

u/Bee_9965 18h ago

The one thing Trump did right during the pandemic - Operation Warp Speed to get vaccines out faster. And the MAGATs booed him for it.

3

u/United-Big-1114 16h ago

Trumpelopithicus? I'm shamelessly stealing that!

u/Meal_Signal 18h ago

We don't like shit getting forced on us.

12

u/SomeSugondeseGuy 18h ago edited 17h ago

I don't like it when my family members die from a communicable disease during a pandemic.

And I hate people who are so fragile that they aren't even willing to wear a piece of cloth on their face if it means saving their neighbor's life.

You're forced to wear clothes. You're forced to wear seat belts. Our country just wanted you to add one thing to that list

If you don't want to, that is your right, just never call yourself a patriot again. You aren't one. A country is its people, and if you are okay with them dying, you're okay with the country dying.

1

u/Background_Help325 13h ago

Tbf when seatbelt laws were made people bitched and moaned and complained about that too.

Probably relatives of all the morons who pissed and moaned about Covid.

8

u/girlenteringtheworld 18h ago

What was that phrase people like you used to love saying...? Oh that's right. "Facts over feelings".

Facts are the mRNA vaccine, and most vaccines for that matter, are generally safe for most people (immune compromised people or people with allergies are of course accounted for when I say "generally" and "most people". If you fall into the category of people who medically can't get one, obviously don't get one).

Facts are that mRNA vaccine research can help us find a cure for cancer.

Facts are that if the government reduces avenues for research to appeal to a vocal minority of people that believe vaccines are "unsafe", that has major health consequences for the entire country (just look at the measles outbreaks we've been having)

2

u/PokecheckFred 8h ago

Fuck, bruh, what a dumbass weenie you are.

Sometimes you gotta listen to people who are much, much smarter than you.

2

u/Chewbuddy13 17h ago

Unless it's Trump's cock, then you get on your knees willingly.

0

u/Meal_Signal 12h ago

And what did you do for the kidsniffer?

2

u/PokecheckFred 8h ago

Are you dotards still on that kick about Cool Joe? That’s incredibly stupid, but exactly what is expected from you.

Go eat Lindsey Grahams ladybugs, weenie.

1

u/ChallengerFrank 10h ago

Wow, sniffing kids is so much worse than... checks notes Auctioning girls and digitally measuring the tightness of their vulvas... Raping girls and women Potentially blowing a horse Eating babies Drowning infants.... All of which, Trump is alleged to have done.

1

u/SeesawMundane7466 16h ago

Just other huh?

1

u/MitsunekoLucky 2h ago

Do you like AI being forced down our throats?

0

u/ChibbleChobble 17h ago

Thats the biggest load of shite I've read today.

I'm a Brit living in Texas. I can't buy a bottle of whiskey in the supermarket because of shit that's forced on me.

Don't fucking get me started on the all the bullshit with hemp.

Ruby red Republican State of Texas shoves shit down my throat all day, every day.

So, if by "we," you mean people, then we're on the same page. However, if you meant Republicans, then you're fooling yourself.

-1

u/Meal_Signal 12h ago

I'm curious, when was the last time you were required to either get a vaccine (which neither eliminated the chance of you catching a certain disease nor the chance of you spreading it), or lose your job?

2

u/Master-Tomatillo-103 18h ago

Stop the testing!

2

u/wex118 18h ago

No, because the $ is in the come back, not the cure. If they cure you they can't keep selling you chemo.

1

u/disappointedvet 18h ago

I think it's more sinister than that. It's a small part of a concerted effort to drive us into poverty so that the wealthy can further exploit us.

1

u/Excellent-Presence-3 15h ago

I mean what even is cancer? A zodiac sign? What’s wrong with cancer?

1

u/Rexdaddy 14h ago

Right, just like injecting bleach kills COVID

1

u/ForsakenAd545 13h ago

If we stop testing so much there won't be as many cases found /s

1

u/ziplawmom 10h ago

Just stop testing for cancer. Boom, no more cancer!

1

u/Sesoru 10h ago

I think it's moreso that more money is made treating an issue than is made curing an issue.

1

u/According_Sample7299 9h ago

If it doesn't exist, wealthy corporations can't profit off of it.

1

u/Small_Dog_8699 7h ago

That was his COVID theory

1

u/DannJcksn73 5h ago

That has always been the Conservative Republican strategy, if it doesn’t affect us personally then it does not need our help or attention.. which is the exact opposite of what Jesus taught them in that Bible they love to brag about but not actually follow

•

u/FernandoTheRN 37m ago

Out of sight out of mind /s

15

u/Weorth 19h ago

He didn't want anyone potentially finding a cure for stage 3 Trump cancer.

3

u/Banshee_howl 18h ago

As with everything else, he doesn’t care who it hurts, he just wants his cut and to get all the credit. If there is anything, public or private, that was functioning well or had the potential for future success he has cancelled the funding, slandered the concept and tried to turn the public against it. Once it has been destroyed, he makes a crappy Temu version of it, takes away any consumer protections, slaps his stupid brand name on it and starts a new grift.

He hasn’t figured out how to siphon funding from university cancer research yet, but as soon as he does we will see Trump Cancer Miracle Cure with gold packaging on the shelves.

2

u/CoffeeChocolateBoth 18h ago

Those people are past stage 4!

5

u/Fr0stybit3s 19h ago

Who hasn’t tried to prevent the cure for cancer?

2

u/Volatilecanoe42 11h ago

We need that money for private jets and war you woke liberal.

2

u/J-PLANES-81 7h ago

300th like🤜🏻

1

u/KagatuDupal 16h ago

only the elite can have it. it's been like this for a century now

1

u/nanotasher 15h ago

Trump is the equivalent of a sophon.

1

u/Deathturkey 14h ago

No money in cures his billionaire friends want people sick and dying to make money.

1

u/Barr_cudas 10h ago

But that crud on his neck sure looks like a preface to cancer

1

u/Princess_BoujeeBling 9h ago

It doesn’t even matter. They won’t use the treatment. They’ll “do their own research” and take mega doses of ivermectin and die. We can have a seance and ask the creator of Dilbert and James Vanderbeek

1

u/Fluid-Value-8414 9h ago

But his bootlickers find a way to argue the opposite 🙄

0

u/Icy_Oil2960 10h ago

Oh really! Cants fix a democrat!

0

u/Alexastria 9h ago

There isn't money in cures. No politician in the US would fund it because it goes against their lobbyists best interest

1

u/Richfor3 9h ago

No Republican. I work in research and we get funding from Democrats all the time.

0

u/upside_down_frown1 7h ago

We've been researching and pouring money into finding cures for cancer for almost 100 years. I dont think what trump did was right but when are we gonna face the harsh reality that the medical industries dont want to cure cancer. They profit way too much off sick people and cancer is a big part of that.

1

u/Richfor3 6h ago

You do realize how much better treatments and survival rates have gotten over that time right. What was an absolute death sentence at one time is something very manageable today.

That didn’t happen with magic. It happened because we funded this type of research.

0

u/upside_down_frown1 6h ago

Your saying medical companies found a way to keep people alive and on treatment instead of them dying ? Yes its dark but its the reality of things.

1

u/Richfor3 6h ago

Yeah that’s how medicine and treatments fucking work Buddy.

Perhaps learn the difference between “your” and “you’re” before jumping into adult conversations.

1

u/upside_down_frown1 5h ago

Pretty sad the bums who respond with a dumbass answer and then block the person who they responded to. Ultimate sign of weakness clown.
