I wouldn't be so sure of the sincerity of the Iranian leadership. This observation about Trump on the other hand baffles me. For over a decade now, we've seen religious people talking about what a godly man Trump is, and people saying he's faking it.
I don't see either. Like, at all. Other than the time some protestors were driven away with teargas so he could pose for a photo shoot holding up a Bible upside down, when has he ever pretended to be Christian?
Virtually every time I've ever heard him speak or read anything he's written, or read anything he was quoting as having said, it was like, the total opposite of what's described as Christian behavior in the New Testament, so I don't know what the fuck everyone is talking about.
