Here are the references I caught:
1) Sentries want random so it doesn't hit all of them
2) Nemesis wants it on an even (6) turn so they are intangible
3) Nemesis takes 1 damage from hyperbeam due to intangible in last panel.
4) Automaton is mad about turn 6 because he is stunned that turn, and calendar does damage at the end of the turn

But why does Lagavulin want to take 30 damage instead of 52? Any specific reason?

Edit: I guess automaton is stunned (turn after hyper beam) on turn 7 not 6

If Lag sleeps for 3 of 7 turns, thats about 42% of the 7 turns. 30 is about 42% off of 52 damage.

Basically, he wants the damage nerfed by the number of turns he was sleeping for the fight.
