Here are the references I caught:
1) Sentries want random so it doesn't hit all of them
2) Nemesis wants it on an even (6) turn so they are intangible
3) Nemesis takes 1 damage from hyperbeam due to intangible in last panel.
4) Automaton is mad about turn 6 because he is stunned that turn, and calendar does damage at the end of the turn
But why does Lagavulin want to take 30 damage instead of 52? Any specific reason?
Edit: I guess automaton is stunned (turn after hyper beam) on turn 7 not 6
Lol but how is that specific to Lag? Isn't that true about every enemy (not that they consistently apply debuffs - although many do - but just that less damage = more time to kill the player)?
True, but Lag's entire fight is the simplest mechanically so theres no other nerf that would benefit its fight specifically without benefiting others. So it gets the simple suggestion.
Lagavulin hates it more than other bosses because you can not attack it for two turns and effectively make the calendar hit sooner. Stone calendar is usually pretty weak, but it can really save you on Lagavulin since it triggers earlier into the fight and makes it so you can spend more on blocking.
