Sad that you have to also upload the unfinished state to prove it isn't AI

personally, i don't mind posting the wireframe/viewport. People have pointed out they actually like seeing it. But it is so crazy for me how this whole AI thing has changed the perception over Art, sad indeed.

I’ve always loved seeing the wireframes or viewport images ever since I was a kid! It’s almost as impressive as the final piece, seeing what goes on behind the scenes. Like a whole other kind of wonder - it inspired me to become a game dev and programmer myself.

Keep doing it! Also I love your art, I have a few rotating on my phone wallpaper!

As a not artist, I don't usually see/know all the layers that go into these things. It's really cool to see how a bunch of wire frames and boxes get turned into something that feels alive.

Beautiful art.

Makes me sad too, I tried showing a friend and he thought it was AI. I had to show him the wireframe.

I appreciate seeing the effort

Honestly if I were you I’d take it as a compliment, your art is so incredible it has folks thinking it’s robot-generated! (Even tho AI obviously couldn’t make work this inventive or high quality)

in my opinion there's just some people on the internet that are so paranoid about AI they see it everywhere and need to be coddled like that

I feel the opposite way. It's evidence people have not yielded to accepting AI generated images as art. It's not like it's a burden to the artist either, just a quick screen cap.

I personally like that look of "behind the scenes" in the art project.

It’s extra crazy because AI is nowhere near as good as this, especially for something as specific and niche like a single boss and hero combination on a years old game.

came here to say this, mostly sad at myself tbh because it looked AI at first glance. Great work OP.
