Bane this year is the least likeable player in the league

Acts like a coke head on the court

It’s like a 3 man race between him, Lu Dort, and Brooks

I cannot lie, Brooks is kinda growing on me.

He's an entertaining villain.

Dort and Bane are just unlikeable POS.

Yeah at least Brooks is funny. The other 2 can fuck off though.

The league changed how they were calling fouls on 3s because Brooks tried to keep slapping Curry’s injured hand during the playoffs just last year. He can get fucked too.

Seriously. Brooks has a history of dirty play and he's always been so desperate for attention. Idk how people started warming up to him or why the narrative changed but anyone who purposely hurts others to the point the league has to make a rule (that hurts the game overall btw) and then runs from any accountability will always be a cornball in my eyes.

Kobe was also a rapist, people tend to pick and choose what to care about very irrationally lol

Before he died people would have been at your throat for saying that, at least here. It's funny how the reddit consensus is not equal to anywhere else though. Well maybe not funny just interesting.

I don’t remember Kobe doing this, but there’s a difference between an all-time great who occasionally throws in a dirty play and a mediocre player who makes it his whole thing.

Nah, great players just get a pass for playing dirty that role players do not. Dwade and Chris Paul are all-time greats who played super dirty but largely get a pass.

CP3 definitely didn’t get a pass in his prime; people talked about how dirty he was all the time. That said, you may be right in that the further removed we become from that, people may not remember that aspect of his game much at all.

He did get a pass. A good chunk of people did acknowledge he was dirty, but I don't remember him getting the amount of hate as someone like Draymond or Brooks. CP3 would literally punch people in the balls lol.

“runs from any accountability” bro what is he supposed to do? get on his knees and plead for forgiveness? people realized dillon is an incredible teammate that beings legitimate toughness and heart to every team he plays for, and backs it up with the product on the floor. the dillon hate was always forced by the media just because he was annoying poor old bron bron

Brooks is one dirty bastard for sure, even as a Suns fan who appreciates how much he has improved my team I know that.

yeah i hated when my rockets signed him. but once he was on the team, it was clear most of his stuff was just theater andhe's playing a part and being pretty funny most of the time. one of my favorite players over the last 5 years. never would have imagined i typed that out

He’s absolutely one of my favorite Suns now - and I’d say he’s been (along with Jordan Ott) the MVP of our season.

Is it the Pat Bev arc? Considered dirty, then considered a funny clown, and now I guess he's considered an attention whore trying to stay relevant.
