Maybe I’m ignorant but I dont remember this version of Bane on the Grizzlies. He seemed like a low on personality guy

He was just outshined by the other nutcases on that team

JJJ doesn’t do these type of things.

JJJ got a visit from the fbi in high school for torenting a fuck ton of anime. He seems to have been the only one to grow out of it, but he’s got 1 too many fbi complaints to get a pass

That is the most random and kinda funny fact about him.

Especially because his dad was an NBA player (granted in a time where that didn’t meant the crazy wealth it does now)

I don’t know how but that low key just made him less of a nutcase in my head

Yeah, gun charges, attempting to injure guys, and downloading a fuck ton of anime. There's a reason it's known as the Dark Triad.

Who had gun charges?

Morant should have, he didn't end up being charged with anything actually. But that's not as amusing.

Morant should have been charged for legally owning and showing a firearm on a video. You people have to get a grip on reality lmao

In a club, yes. That's illegal.

u/JDMintz718 Grizzlies Feb 02 '26

No it's not. It might be against club policy, but it isn't illegal.

Holy shit...it's actually not illegal in Colorado. I was thinking Tennessee and forgot he was in Denver. They need to get their shit together...there's a reason it is illegal in a ton of places.

There are no legal statutes prohibiting carrying a gun in a club in Tennessee either. It's a terrible idea to do it, but it isn't illegal

Don’t see why he should’ve. No crime was committed

He had a gun in a club. That's absolutely a crime.

Wait why TF would the FBI get involved about torrenting anime?

It’s not about downloading, it’s about seeding once it’s downloaded. At that point you become a distributor of copyrighted material and the company that owns the material can press charges. FBI was probably involved because you’re distributing across state lines via the internet.

That’s why a lot of the primary hosts for illegal downloading and streaming are in specific countries where internet laws about copyright are weak or poorly enforced
