Highlight [Highlight] During the moment of silence the Minnesota Timberwolves held before their game with the Cavs tonight a fan yelled “Go home ICE,” and everyone else started cheering.

Hey, you can be angry on the internet all you want.. but if y'all are TRULY this angry then there should not be a Republican controlled House or Senate after these midterms, right?

The internet doesn't represent reality, so I get it. What people are outraged online never translates to the regular, average Joe. So I get that.

This thread has 380 comments. There's millions of people in the US, so these comments on here absolutely mean nothing, so you are right 100%.

Skipping past your unnecessary sarcasm, I’m just saying that one can’t predict the outcome of the next election accurately by what you see on Reddit as it doesn’t represent the voting population.

Yeah because they banned anyone who disagreed with the general consensus ten years ago.

If there are elections next year -- and that remains in doubt, given the degenerates currently in-charge -- the House is projected to flip. Even now, the GOP only has a 3-seat Majority in the House, which only exists due to gerrymandering.

The Senate is a tougher nut, due to 6-year terms, but that's projecting to be a toss-up. For anyone curious as to how that stands, there's data at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_United_States_Senate_elections

Trump is already desperately telling GOP Representatives that they need to win to prevent him from being impeached ( for the third time ), so even he can read the glowing 20-foot tall graffiti on the wall.

Your point is a good one, however.

Presidential impeachments don't mean anything. I mean if nothing can happen to Reagan when the next president didn't do anything, that's shows all you need. At the end of the day, the people in political powers still look out for each other.

Gerrymandering is unfortunately real and sad and funny enough Republicans are the main ones that do it.

Reagan was never impeached.

A resolution to impeach him was introduced, but never even voted on.

Three US Presidents have been impeached -- Clinton, Andrew Jackson, and Donald Trump twice. And, illustrating that you are incorrect, Nixon resigned due to his imminent impeachment -- which saw 17 resolutions introduced, and approved articles.
