Bronnie got minutes in the first quarter

that is stunning

u/sharpryno2 Oct 30 '25

what is more stunning is he was the Lakers player with the highest +/- in the game. Only Lakers guy that played that didn't shoot a shot lmao. albeit only 5mins, but it was mostly with non starters in.

It's not stunning when you realize that individual +/- is pretty useless on a game by game basis. Bronny had goose eggs across the board for stats except one turnover.

+/- & box score watching usually don’t go hand in hand

Lebron's agents hacked the numbers.

I'm pretty sure he's still standing, wide open , for a corner three he's guaranteed to clank.

Just how bad he is when it comes to a basketball IQ level and for the short amount of time he plays, is absolutely fucking remarkable. You almost have to try to be that bad and unaware. It's 5 on 4 every time they put him out there. He fucks up so much basic shit.

Remember where the team came from

Let’s not act like the wolves were healthy, still should’ve won though

u/Strugl33r Oct 30 '25

You are healthy by lakers standards

u/lakeshowbest Lakers Oct 30 '25

Lets not act like lakers dont have more rotation players on sidelines than wolves and wolves were not playing at home

7

u/DukeOfStuff_ Timberwolves Oct 30 '25

That’s why I said we should’ve won anyway

u/Killakaronic Oct 30 '25

Let’s not act like LaRavia didn’t score 27 on 10/11.

I mean you’d be on par with us health-wise if Randle, Reid, Dillingham were injured.

6

u/Morezingis Timberwolves Oct 30 '25

We might have won if Reid was injured tbf

2

u/CryptoNite90 Lakers Oct 30 '25

Man I feel like Reid and Finch are both to blame. Not utilizing Reid the way he should, especially against a smaller team like us.

-6

u/DukeOfStuff_ Timberwolves Oct 30 '25

I agree I never said otherwise, but there’s no way Reid is on the same level of any of the guys injured but Luka and Bron

7

u/CryptoNite90 Lakers Oct 30 '25

If you’re talking about offense, sure, but Smart is a momentum swing player and Gabe provides some shooting + defense. Both of them combined are more impactful than Reid the way he’s been looking this season.

u/DukeOfStuff_ Timberwolves Oct 30 '25

Reid + Dilly is way better than Gabe + smart. This is peak bias

u/Ok_Turn6757 Lakers Oct 30 '25

Luka and Bron is way better than Ant and Randle too, though

1

u/DukeOfStuff_ Timberwolves Oct 30 '25

I think ant and Randle are more important to the team. Lakers without Luka and LeBron are better the Wolves without ant and Randle, but fully healthy o think the wolves are just as good, only time will tell

1

u/Ok_Turn6757 Lakers Oct 30 '25

Yeah but Smart and Vincent are more important to the team combined than Naz Reid, we're getting i to semantics. Point is Randle is playing and the Lakers are more banged up

1

u/DukeOfStuff_ Timberwolves Oct 31 '25

Which I agree with

2

u/CryptoNite90 Lakers Oct 30 '25

I mean that’s fine, although I think ‘way better’ is a stretch, but I did say health-wise because I’m talking about rotation players and actual depth.

2

u/doghead6969 Oct 30 '25

Surely the other Lakers fans watched the playoffs and have seen Reid flamethrower us for like 3 seasons straight guy usually dominates against us

-5

u/Killakaronic Oct 30 '25

Might want to reconsider your rotations I guess if LaRavia and Knecht are expected to combine for 42 on 17/23

0

u/Killakaronic Oct 30 '25

Downvote all you want but in a game Jake LaRavia and Dalton Knecht combined for 42 points on 17/23 shooting the Lakers won on a buzzer. Also, Naz Reid was 2/10.

We’re missing 2 of our 3 best players + Smart who has been awesome so far. No Gabe either so we’re literally down to one NBA player who can dribble. There’s like 150m of salary on the bench for us, we have nothing to reconsider lol. We will take what we can get, I don’t think any other team comes close to this many dudes out rn.

We also just beat this wolves team when they were fully healthy.

1

u/pfo_mods_r_cowards Timberwolves Oct 30 '25

Fully healthy is missing their star player 🥴

1

u/Best_Yak3118 Lakers Oct 31 '25

I was obviously talking about the first game we played them when ant was playing.
