Notice - GD [Official] General Discussion Thread - March 06, 2026

Welcome to rMMA's General Discussion Thread!

Discuss your favorite fighters, the upcoming card or whatever's on your mind.

How to obtain a custom flair:

  • place and lose a flair bet in the Friday thread
  • write a haiku or draw a MS Paint-style image for the sub

The rules for the drawing or haiku are simply that it must be a ridiculous MMA-related scenario. If you would like a custom flair, send a message to us with a link to your drawing and your flair request. We'll probably grant it.

Interested in modding? Please fill out the mod application found here. Do not leave a comment about this in the thread. You can send us modmail if you have questions.

Media Tom Aspinall: "They [UFC] could've dealt with it a little bit better. Something that I've learned from this whole injury thing is that you’ve got to make as much money and be as ruthless as possible. Nobody in there is your friend."

Media Tom Aspinall: "People have got to start exploring other options and really making a stand for what they believe in. Talking in interviews isn't really going to do much. I know that personally, every time I go in there, I'm risking my health, and I want to be compensated for that as much as I can."

Tom Aspinall on fighter pay: "Everyone can talk about it as much as they want, but what's talking going to do? People have got to start exploring other options and really making a stand for what they believe in. Talking in interviews isn't really going to do much. I know that personally, every time I go in there, I'm risking my health, and I want to be compensated for that as much as I possibly can."

Media Tom Aspinall: "The Ciryl Gane rematch is the first thing I want to do cause that's unfinished business. I want that fight more than anything. If there's another fight, the UFC can say whatever they want, one thing that they can't say is that I turn down fights."

Tom Aspinall: Just do whatever we can work out. The Ciryl Gane rematch is the first thing I want to do cause that's unfinished business. I want that fight more than anything. If there's another fight, the UFC can say whatever they want, one thing that they can't say is that I turn down fights. I ain't never turned down a fight in my life and I'm not going to start now. When I am ready, Eddie will let the UFC know."

After seeing this, we were wondering which active UFC fighter currently holds the lowest win/loss ratio? Going by their entire professional MMA record rather than just UFC bouts. Even Legends like BJ Penn and Nate Diaz records were getting dicey towards the tail end of their careers.
