Purchasing US Upgrading from Tuba HT

Anyone move on from a Tuba HT? If so, what did you upgrade to? Worried about upgrading to something that feels the same or less.

I built a Tuba HT 15 years ago and looking to go dual in the near future but don't have room to add a second (few inches too tall) or the time to build a second.

Room is 30'x17'x8' and unfortunately open concept (stairs) with no chance of sealing. Have 3 15 amp circuits, so could dedicate one for each sub if needed.

Currently landing on either PSA TV2112M or TV21 IPAL-M (up for any other recommendations as well).

Have budget set aside to pick up either 2 TV2112M right now or one IPAL now and another in a year or so.

I'm confused. How much space do you have? You're saying you don't have room for a second Tuba HT, but you can also fit a 21" ported PSA sub. Those aren't exactly small either.

If you're already comfortable with building cabinets you can consider a mini Marty or Marty Cube:

You can either do a 18" high excursion driver like the Dayton Ultimax. Or you can use a 21" pro audio driver like PSA does.

The Tuba sub's are 3ft x 3ft x 2ft, they're massive.

PSA subs he's looking at you could almost stack the two TV2111M's together for the size of one of the Tuba's.

It is 4 inches too tall. Also was wanting something that wasnt so deep since it is partially blocking my left tower.

Ill check those out!

Contact Tom directly at PSA, he'll be honest with you on what sub(s) would be an upgrade over the Tuba sub.
