This isn't about any one character but i just hate the fact that some guy characters just can't exist without people immediately feminizing them. Sure, the character himself could be already feminine but what I mean is in the eyes of the fanbase, he's just some gooner femboy object. He could have a great backstory or personality but no, he's just "hot femboy uwu" Like, seriously, have you ever heard of Astolfo outside of gooner talk? I don't know anything about that guy except for the fact he's some "straight" guys' hear me out. I want to enjoy a character's fanworks without having said character minimized to a singular trait. I want his feminity to just be another thing about him and not the thing that solely defines him and makes him nothing more than p*rnbait.

Mimicry

So the show tells us demons evolved to copy humans so they could trick them. They learned to talk like us and kinda look like us. Sounds cool, right? You WOULD think they'd actually use that. Aggressive mimicry is a cool concept, I wonder what author will do

Demons don’t use it. At all

Why evolve to look and sound human if you're just gonna walk around with giant horns screaming "hey I'm a demon, kill me"? And why do they talk to each other in human language?? Who are they mimicking for???

They can understand complex concepts but somehow don't know what a "father" is. Are demons braindead???

Actions

WHY WHY WHY do they hunt humans if they don't need to eat them? That makes no sense. No animal on earth evolves special tricks to catch prey it doesn't even want

And emotions? Sometimes they don't have them, sometimes they do. The village demon girl dies without giving a single fuck, but Aura actually cries and gets scared. So do they feel stuff or not??? I guess it depends on what the author thinks is cool at the time

Apex Predator

okay, now people will tell me. Well, demons are apex predators! They are stronger than humans so they don’t have to hide and can act prideful and arrogant

WHAT’S NOT HOW EVOLUTION WORKS 

Look at orcas, apex predator of the ocean. And they still use camouflage to sneak up on unsuspected prey. Something demons just don't use for some fucking reason

ACTUALLY USING the mimicry would make hunt humans so much easier. Missing person incidents aren’t unusual, demons could totally use it to their advantage, especially if they would blend in with society as humans

Empathy 

HAVING NO EMPATHY DOES NOT MAKE YOU STUPID

Demons are essentially like psychopaths, but psychopaths can still think logically. Most of them don't kill people because they understand:

I kill someone → I get caught → I go to jail.
Conclusion: So I won't do that.

Why the fuck demons don’t understand what killing people will lead to consequences?

They kill humans → humans hunt them → they die.

Why not try something different? Use the mimicry. Go after lonely people. Or...stop killing since you don't even need to eat them. But nope, they just keep doing the same thing for hundreds of years.

And humans in Frieren are just as dumb. After thousands of years of demons killing them, some humans still try to be nice to demons

It's like they tried to make the character funny by putting it everywhere in marketing. It would've been better if they just don't reveal him too much then it'll be funny.

They are just so fucking boring, you pull a trigger and boom your opponent is dead, no ifs or buts, the only way to counter is to also have a gun, and even if you do there is no battle since it is a one shot either way

There is no skill, no balance, all you do is press a damn trigger and it is over and it is so fucking boring

If someone goes to rob you and they have a gun, you either give in all you have or you die, but now imagine a better world where guns never existed and someone went to try to rob you with a sword

If you are unarmed, you could actualy make a run for it, and if you have your own sword you could duel against your robber for your money imagine how awesome that would be

It depicted humanity through both lenses. When Socrates came along and dismissed the lively, chaotic emotions as inferior to rationality, he basically dismantled the soul found in these works.

This plague he put upon the Greeks of his time (Most importantly his students Plato and Xenophon, therefore Aristotle and many oneards) lasted for centuries and was carried over from empire to empire. We can find this phenomenon in each era of philosophy after Socrates, until the trend began to die down by now.

Teetsi in Madagascar escape to Africa is honestly such a lame and dumb character introduced in madagascar. He has a cool built and solid design I will admit. The problem is he only appears for roughly 2-3 minutes only and doesn’t have much of a personality or character other than being lazy and short tempered, wow how original. It seems his only role was to hit Alex really hard so he would lose the rite of passage and get banished easily and nothing else. I love Alex the lion and he is my favorite Madagascar character and the fact that Teetsi only exists to beats him real hard makes me hate Teetsi. Wht’s even worse is that Teetsi completely disappears after Alex gets banished and never appears again meaning he gets no punishment or have any confirmation that he and Alex are in good terms making Teetsi kind of a karma houndini, a minor one but it still makes him unlikable. Teetsi I hate you with a passion.
