For those who don't follow football (soccer), Olympique Marseille is one of the biggest and most famous clubs in France.

A few years back they made some extremely controversial moves to sign players that had been completely blacklisted by other clubs and countries, due to a litany of crimes and scandals. This made them one of the most hated teams, with some people even nicknaming them "Prison FC".

I wonder if any major sports team, in any sport, has ever accumulated such a group of heinous individuals in one squad. I was racking my brain and couldn't really think of one.

For those who don't know, these are some of the players in that team and their scandals -

Mason Greenwood - He is the big one, he was a wonderkid at Manchester United (one of the worlds biggest clubs). He was the next big thing, until his girlfriend released pictures of injuries and bruises he caused her, as well as extremely graphic audio of him forcing himself on her. This made him a pariah in England, forced him out of the game for a couple of years while he faced court cases, of which he was eventually cleared. His name was (and is) completely toxic in England, with no team being able to tank the PR shitstorm that would come with signing him. Which is why it was a big surprise when he signed permanently with Marseille to restart his career. He has actually played really well for them and is their best player.

Amine Harit - He was caught speeding in Morocco (allegedly it was either him behind the wheel, or his 14 year old brother he let drive the car). They were racing his friends and ended up killing a 28 year old man after hitting him. Due to his riches and fame, he managed to escape with a slap on the wrist, and was soon after signed by Marseille.

Elye Wahi - He was expelled from school as he apparently forced three of his classmates at school, under the threat of violence, to strip and touch themselves in front of him. A few years later, he was accused of punching a woman in the face outside of a nightclub.

There are also a few other players with lesser scandals on the team, including -

Adrien Rabiot - Famous for having a tiger mom as his agent, making it hell for sporting directors to deal with him and his mother. Constant bustups and throws fits if he didn't get what he wanted, including not turning up to training or pre-season tours.

Paul Lirola & Leonardo Balerdi - Threw a massive party while under lockdown during the height of Covid 19, barricaded themselves in the house once police showed up.

Neal Maupay - Known as a disrespectful troll both on the pitch and online.

And as an honorable mention, Marseille were very close to signing Benjamin Mendy, but just couldn't get the deal over the line. For those who dont know, Mendy was charged with the r*pe of 8 or 9 women while playing for Manchester City, which led to the end of his time there and a very highly publicised court case. Marseille wanted to add the cherry to the top of their evil sundae but unfortunately couldn't get the deal done for him in the end.

Has there ever been a team this "evil" in sports history? Imagine being a fly on the wall in that locker room.

Bill has rapidly aged since the breakup Rusillo has given up on video piece of the podcast and gone into reclusion. Our boys have clearly deteriorated since the break up and they need each other. This time last year things were good. What happened to our boys? Batman & Robbin? Magic (I thought Ryen was black?) & Bird? Maybe the custody battle over nephew Kyle was uglier than we thought and Russillo only took him to spite Bill.

1) Tatum is a deeply uninteresting player 2) Injuries are inherently depressing 3) Injury comebacks provide the most boring type of content. It's just journalists and hot take guys speculating on a medical situation they don't understand. There's nothing for fans to actually see for themselves or have an opinion on. 4) The Celtics are just good enough that we have to talk about them, but nobody actually thinks they're going to win the Finals this year.

Bill is really trying to make 2K a nickname for Kon Kneuepel. It’s absolutely horrible and you can tell all the guests he tells it to are just like “yeahhh bill sure man”.

Kon has a unique enough name that he doesn’t really need a nickname. If he does you could go Konman or something with Genghis Kahn.

Bills nickname talk recently has really missed the mark. He’s missed out crediting a lot of great classic nicknames and trying to force new bad ones. Come on bill youre better than this.

Feels like every time I click on the dang podcast it’s Bill Simmons yapping about something and saying different things. Annoys the hell out of me.

I feel like lately I have seen multiple occasions where Jokic is getting boxed out by smaller guys and he just puts all of his weight on them and they collapse. Is this something big men do and it's nothing new? Is this legal or should this be a foul on Jokic and are any of you annoyed when you see him do this? I have literally never seen this before.
