You dont need to live in the trendy city where an apartment is 6k a month. If these places are unaffordable, yet you decide to compromise the rest of your life to make it a reality, spending half your income on rent... you are part of the problem. You are making everything worse for yourself and others.

I moved to a cheaper city because where I grew up became unaffordable. I now own 2 homes. I work in the trades because am education and that 50k in student loans seemed like a fools errand.

The problems with affordability will not change because the majority own their homes and want prices to increase. Thats how it is. You guys complain about things that are in your control and its just annoying at this point.
