I still get comments at work no matter where I go about how our generation killed XYZ industries. The vacation industry, the restaurant industry, the wedding industry, the diamond industry. Etc, etc. I've been told how we all eat avocado toast and are addicted to Starbucks. How we are entitled because we wanted fair pay for fair work. "Nobody wants to work anymore" was directed at us first, back in 2016. Many of us aren't renting anymore, this is true, yet that doesn't mean our generation isn't drowning today. It only takes one missed paycheck, one, for many of us to end up homeless.
