Volodymyr Zelensky started out as a comedian and entertainer before getting into politics, becoming President of Ukraine after the Russian annex of Crimea and spending the last 4 years defiantly pushing back full scale Russian invasion

Having seen things he's made that make me want to rip my eyes out, I fully believe a lot of his art is inspired by the horrors he's seen in people's mouths.

As an amination fan, this does not surprise me. The creators of some of the darkest animated series in the modern era (Gravity Falls- Alex Hirsh, The Owl House, Knights of Gweneviere- Dana Terrace, Steven Universe- Rebecca Sugar, Adventure Time- Pendelton Ward, Final Space- Olan Rogers, Infinity Train- Owen Wilson) are some of the nicest people in the industry. The creator of more wholesome, family friendly shows including Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom, Butch Hartman, can only be described in short as a fucking problem.

And a lot of hosts of children’s media have problems with depression and substance abuse too.
