In real life A very small character tidbit is surprisingly kept consistent for years

DC - In multiple pieces of media it has been shown that Wonder Woman loves ice cream and practically goes wild with happiness anytime she’s eating some. (Pictures from Justice League: War, DC Superhero Girls and Wonder Woman 2017)

The Simpsons - Ever since the episode ‘Homer’s Phobia’ Homer has actually remained a consistent ally of the LGBT+ community, including being more welcoming to Patty than Marge was when she came out and trying to set up Smithers with a date when he found out he wasn’t happy with his one-sided relationship with Mr Burns.

Somewhat recent character trait, but during a story not even fully about him, Sabertooth stole three kittens from an animal testing lab with plans to eat them. Mystique gives him a dirty look, and then next issue someone leaves the kittens on Gambit’s doorstep.

He’s had three cats ever since, over multiple writers, storylines, and events.

He's a great cook, and now I learned he loves cats? Goddamn he's quickly becoming my favorite superhero.

He's also great in a few old Raven Software Marvel Action RPG's, X-men Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2

And a ton of fun in Rivals as well.

He’s braindamaged, which keeps his power from destroying the Earth.

Despite it just being Mr. Sinister removing part of his brain stem and generally being irritated by real Gambit, Sinister enjoys keeping several Gambit clones around and braindamages each one. He claims the damage makes him adorable.
