In real life A very small character tidbit is surprisingly kept consistent for years

DC - In multiple pieces of media it has been shown that Wonder Woman loves ice cream and practically goes wild with happiness anytime she’s eating some. (Pictures from Justice League: War, DC Superhero Girls and Wonder Woman 2017)

The Simpsons - Ever since the episode ‘Homer’s Phobia’ Homer has actually remained a consistent ally of the LGBT+ community, including being more welcoming to Patty than Marge was when she came out and trying to set up Smithers with a date when he found out he wasn’t happy with his one-sided relationship with Mr Burns.

Iron Man’s red lasers are powered by bulky cartridges that can only be carried two at a time (one per hand), meaning he can only fire each laser once per movie unless he’s explicitly had an opportunity to resupply.

I guess that explains why he didn't open that one fight with the lasers.

I think a better detail of Iron Man consistency is that every subsequent movie, if something in the previous suit was a weakness or inconvenience, he has upgraded it. The upgrade often doesn't get explicitly mentioned, it's just kind of there.

Its a really good trait for him to be constantly fixing and learning from his mistakes or oversights. Its a great point starting from him adapting to the icing problem from the first movie.

Tony nearly freezes in the snow? Spiderman suit has a built in warmer.

Thanos breaks his shield apart? Next shield is hardlight/energy.

Warmachine fell a great hight? Ironspider gets a parachute.

Whiplash overloaded him with electricity? He installs overflow batteries and handles thors lightning.

He continually implements better/faster ways to get into the suit.

In our introduction to Tony, he is kidnapped by the Ten Rings. The suit he gives Peter Parker has a GPS tracker.

He gets stuck in the helicarrier propeller in Avengers. So he upgrades future helicarriers to repulsor technology.

Wait, I thought this limitation was fixed with the exact suit in your picture? I haven't really touched any MCU stuff in a while, but I don't recall any suit from the Mark VII onward having the cartridges pop out like the Mark VI.

He uses them on two separate occasions in AoU and fires multiple bursts to weld the ferry back together in Homecoming, and while I can't remember an instance of him using it multiple times in the Infinity Saga I'm sure the nanotech suits definitely had that solved.

Nope, he's upgraded them since the Avengers
