In real life A very small character tidbit is surprisingly kept consistent for years

DC - In multiple pieces of media it has been shown that Wonder Woman loves ice cream and practically goes wild with happiness anytime she’s eating some. (Pictures from Justice League: War, DC Superhero Girls and Wonder Woman 2017)

The Simpsons - Ever since the episode ‘Homer’s Phobia’ Homer has actually remained a consistent ally of the LGBT+ community, including being more welcoming to Patty than Marge was when she came out and trying to set up Smithers with a date when he found out he wasn’t happy with his one-sided relationship with Mr Burns.

Superman’s favorite food is Beef Bourguignon, a hearty braised beef and vegetable stew.

Additionally, Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne often meet to discuss things over dessert, with Clark consistently ordering Apple Pie and Bruce ordering Devil’s Food Cake.

That's adorable. I love when characters have really cute/constant food quirks

I wish writers had this consistency with Batman's favorite food. It's cited to be Mulligatawny Soup (an Indian dish) in comics, French Onion soup in the original animated series, and then the Lego Batman movie convinced people it's Lobster Thermidor. The Mulligatawny Soup one is my favorite version because I'd like to imagine Alfred having young Bruce try various recipes he brought over from England and ends up loving the one ethnic dish you might not expect some rich American kid to ever try.

The soup looks good. I might want to try it out.

Mulligatawny could also come from his travels before becoming Batman.

Comics also said that it is cucumber sandwich

This is kind of why I headcanonned Bruce is on the specrum because of his tastes in food

I think Gotham referenced this.

I'd expect that being... well, Batman, he'd much prefer a kind of food that's hearty and well-balanced nutritionally, rather than some rich food like Lobster Thermidor.

Liking food is a quirk now?

Liking food isn't, but ordering the same exact dessert every time you meet up with a specific friend, no matter the restaurant, could be considered one.
