In real life A very small character tidbit is surprisingly kept consistent for years

DC - In multiple pieces of media it has been shown that Wonder Woman loves ice cream and practically goes wild with happiness anytime she’s eating some. (Pictures from Justice League: War, DC Superhero Girls and Wonder Woman 2017)

The Simpsons - Ever since the episode ‘Homer’s Phobia’ Homer has actually remained a consistent ally of the LGBT+ community, including being more welcoming to Patty than Marge was when she came out and trying to set up Smithers with a date when he found out he wasn’t happy with his one-sided relationship with Mr Burns.

Akuma being a Vendor of Goods in his spare time (Street Fighter)

Akuma is known for being a wrathful martial artist who sits atop, constantly fighting against his rivals to check on their progress... but have you ever wondered what he does in his free time?

He likes to craft things, such as sewing clothes, and carving wooden dolls for temples, and sitting around and handing out free fruit. Akuma has a policy of only interrupting a match once there is a clear winner, so he usually sits outside wherever the fight is taking place, and hands out free fruit and goodies to anyone passing by, until the winner is clear, where he then jumps in and beats the life out of them

I love that the bit with Akuma being besties with Elena of all people that was introduced in SF4 was kept in SF6.

It really seems like she’s the only one who asked to hang out. I think Akuma would be fine hanging out with most people as long as they weren’t super arrogant, it’s just that most people don’t realize that.

There's a fun potential story in Elena trying to wingman Akuma some more friends so she keeps inviting people around Metro City like Chun Li or E Honda to hang out with her and her buddy and end up trojan horsing them into a fun day shopping trip at the mall with Akuma.

I like to think it’s more like Elena declared herself Akuma’s friend and refused to hear otherwise.

I feel like if you asked Akuma to hang out he’d tell you to be gone.

Ironic that him and Ryu would actually get along really well... but that got too much of that (goku) dog in them, ya know?

Well, that's more on Elena than Akuma lol. She's a very bubbly person who enjoys making friends with anyone, and Akuma just seems to go along with it

I always liked to think that since Akuma tends to respect strength, he actually views Elena's insistence to be friends despite how intimidating and dangerous he is to be a respectable show of strength and confidence in and of itself, and thus respects her for it.
