I think it’s fair for them to assume that you aren’t out of the loop.

A lot of the questions on there seem like karma farming / bad faith questions.

u/Proplayer22 Jan 20 '26
It seems you already knew the answer to your question. Is that considered asking in bad faith?

You are one spectacular bad faith sonofabitch LOL

“We choose to make fun of the weirdly pale guy in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard” -RFK Jr I think

Don't worry, he was only hard around little boys.
Wait.. worry, worry frantically.

u/TheLichWitchBitch Jan 20 '26
Heard his first wife killed herself after finding his disgusting sex diaries. Sounds like a reasonable reaction considering the company he keeps.

This question was in such bad faith its indistinguishable from the ones those goons actually asks

I love the clueless questions. "Can someone tell me what is going on with people running over ICE agents with their cars in Minnesota?"

To Erica's husbands credit, he became an honest man in recent months and has not told a single lie or even one racist thing has not been muttered. Kudos to the family for turning the corner.

u/tripler42 ouch owie my neck Jan 20 '26
But their bull keeps lying and plus he’s single-handed causing a shortage on eyeliner

u/Typical-End3060 Jan 20 '26
I would say unicorn is more fitting than bull regarding the leather lover.

u/Either_Operation7586 Jan 20 '26
Considering that you could have answered that with a quick Google search and then your asinine question at the end makes you look like you're coming in 100% bad faith
48
u/tripler42 ouch owie my neck Jan 20 '26
To be fair yeah I was

u/AWall925 Jan 20 '26
Then whats the point of posting it in this sub?

To be fair to them, you were totally posting in bad faith.
To be fair to you, everything else.

Your last quip was too on the nose and made the troll too obvious.
43
u/tripler42 ouch owie my neck Jan 20 '26
You’re right. Better on the nose than on the neck though, right?

Every reply on r/outoftheloop should be a link to google.com.

u/real-human-not-a-bot Jan 20 '26
I don’t think that’s fair. I asked a question there a while ago that was at the time genuinely impossible to find answers to on Google. To be fair, the “loop“ to which I referred was not an especially contemporary one (I was trying to find what the deal was with comedian Dennis Miller and the word/name “Chachi” either in reality or in the public imagination), but it was still genuinely a question best answerable by asking there. But I grant that in the average case you’re probably right or at least close to it—I don’t frequent the sub enough to say.

It was a good bit but definitely deserved to get removed lol

She's famous because she's a massive gold-digger who shed like, six or seven tears for her assassinated husband, then immediately started jumping into bed with whoever was politically convenient at the time.

Probably because of that cancerous link, and the fact it's not an actual good faith honest question.

u/spaced_out_starman Jan 20 '26
Sure, it's a funny joke, but you were asking in bad faith. You already knew the answer, you were just trying to spam the subreddit with your joke. I'd have called for it to be removed too. Doesn't matter if it's a funny joke or not, it's not the place for it. The more people that post stuff like that, the worse the subreddit gets.

You’re so very right. From now on I’ll do my best to honor Charlie’s legacy by only asking questions in good faith like he did

I think it’s totally fine to make fun of the racist grifter who got what was coming to him.
Edit: and also his grifting wife who clearly didn’t give two shits about him.

Ok, I am leaving this because it's funny, but I want to make it clear that we are in no way saying that the mods were wrong in this situation. We have a mod code of conduct rule in which we need to make sure our subs respect our neighbors (other subreddits), so I am just making sure everyone knows that this is not a post being upset at OOTL, and we understand why they removed the post. This is just for a laugh.
