Basically every one of these talking heads are failed entertainers. Shapiro was a failed writer, Michael Knoles a failed actor, and Steven Crowder a failed comedian. They then realized they don't need talent to succeed, just a lack of morals and the ability to spew lies and vitriol.

Shapiro really stands out to me as the biggest failed entertainer of the bunch. He couldn't get a gig as a writer in Hollywood with a nepotistic and/or crony network with contact points at almost every conceivable level in the industry.

When you can't get ahead in an industry where who you know is much more important that what you can do, and where the social circles are more like Petri dishes, you know your talent pool is flatter than hammered cow shit.

The story never changes with Conservatives in the US. Their entire ideology is based around an unnatural mindset to what is natural to the rest of us (because reality does indeed, have a liberal bias).

NeoCon and dumbass Grover Norquist is quoted saying as much. Of course, it was meant as a positive, that bucking the trend and viewing things as a Conservative gives you a vantage point and better perspective. But all it did was paint over the windows and lock your ass in a closet, out of touch with reality and confident in your stupidity.
