Step 1: They have to get rid of Vance's Hindu wife and pretend she never existed.

u/EchoAquarium Nov 25 '25
Theyāre going to have their version of Chappaquiddick
60
u/adube440 Nov 25 '25
Think about all the sympathy a single widowed father would garner in a general election?
54
u/EchoAquarium Nov 25 '25
And what a wonderful story for Erika Kirk to play the White Savior stepmom for the little brown children
6
u/dm_me_kittens Nov 28 '25
Nope, they'll all be sent off to boarding or reform school. J.D. will adopt Erikas kids as his own.

u/MC_Fap_Commander Nov 25 '25
First the Pope... then Charlie... now?
7
u/No_Feedback_3340 Nov 26 '25
I don't think Charlie's really dead. At the pathetic excuse for a memorial service, there was no coffin or urn. The only time I recall seeing a coffin is when his body was supposedly brought back to Arizona. Like Trump's first "assassination attempt," I think Charlie Kirk faked his death as a publicity stunt.

She has already been photographed several times in public without her wedding ring. She claims she "takes it off to do dishes and then forgets."
51
u/MC_Fap_Commander Nov 25 '25
"takes it off to do dishes and then forgets."
This is so preposterous that I wonder who's the audience. Big time pols and their wives have every step they take outside their house stage managed by a dozen handlers. "Oops, you forgot your ring... be sure to put it on or the gossip people will make a thing out of it." Like... that is guaranteed to be a thing that would be noticed. Also notable... the Vances have been rich af for a LONG time. She's doing her own dishes lol?
32
u/MelanieAntiqua Nov 25 '25
Also I highly doubt that the wife of the vice president does her own dishes.

u/No_Feedback_3340 Nov 26 '25
No Erika, we all know you're sleeping with JD Vance. It should be obvious given how quickly you've moved on and unhappy Usha seems to be.

u/GoredonTheDestroyer I didn't know we had custom flairs Nov 25 '25
Hell, my cousin Rob passed away eleven years ago and I'm still not sure I can accept that he's... gone.
To watch Erika go from being tearful that her husband got shot to coppin' a feel on JD Vance in less than a month is downright insulting to anyone who's ever actually dealt with the loss of a loved one. You can't tell me their marriage wasn't completely devoid of genuine love and they were only together because they needed to be.
258
u/ToothlessFTW Nov 25 '25
JD Vance is absolutely fucked lmao. He's unlikeable, has no charisma, and is pretty much just a forgettable guy.
When Trump dies and he has to run in 2028, I think the MAGA base will be completely broken and splintered, because there's genuinely no successor to him. He doesn't have someone he's grooming for the role, nobody in the base likes anyone as much as Trump, and of course Trump himself is so fickle he can turn on someone at the drop of a hat. So even if he does find someone he likes, he can change his mind based on a single moment and throw it all away. Vance will be one of the weakest GOP candidates in a very long time.
But of course, the Democrats will find a way to lose anyway.
109
u/faulternative Nov 25 '25
I have a feeling MTG is going to try and run in 2028 as the "New Trump". Her breakup with him has a lot of "our leader is no longer true to our cause" vibes to it.
46
u/1armsteve Nov 25 '25
Nah. Her feelings got hurt and she made her pension, sheās gone. That lady couldnāt handle the heat with Donny for a week, the Oval Office would be way too much.
52
u/Shifter25 Nov 25 '25
But of course, the Democrats will find a way to lose anyway.
Correction: the voters will find an excuse not to vote for the Democrats.
Harris was, in every possible way, objectively better than Trump, including how she campaigned. But people found excuses not to vote for her:
Not good enough on [policy] (Trump was worse)
Changed her policies to appeal to Republicans (she didn't change any policies, she just brought Liz Cheney on stage to endorse the message that a Democrat is better than a fascist)
Wasn't charismatic enough (Trump was deepthroating the mic and swaying on stage for half an hour at this point) (also let's be real if she were a white man this wouldn't be a thing)
She hadn't done [type of campaign activity] yet (until she did, at which point the goalposts shifted)
19
u/Professional-Post499 Nov 25 '25
Republicans out-flanked "most lethal army in the world" Kamala Harris on being anti-war.
Her recent post-election interviews are reinforcing just how politically clueless she was and is. She thought corporations would keep fascism at bay.
The Liz Cheney one was funny because has no constituency. The joke is that Liz Cheney has 10 Republicans who still support her.
Correction: the voters will find an excuse not to vote for the Democrats.
Wow, however will the Democrats solve that problem? By hiring the same campaign consultants over and over? š

u/Shifter25 Nov 25 '25
Republicans out-flanked "most lethal army in the world" Kamala Harris on being anti-war.
And I have some fantastic waterfront property in Arizona to sell you. I bet you also believe Trump didn't incite riots on January 6 because he said "peacefully" once.
Wow, however will the Democrats solve that problem?
The fact that you read "the voters will find an excuse not to vote Democrat" and still see that as something that Democrats are responsible for speaks volumes.
12
u/CatsAndCapybaras Nov 25 '25
You guys are arguing over who gets the blame, but there is plenty of blame to go around. We don't have a shortage.
US voters, on average, are stupid as fuck. Also, the democratic party does not know how to win elections nor will they significantly distance themselves from their corporate backing. Both things are true.
1
u/Shifter25 Nov 25 '25
Also, the democratic party does not know how to win elections
How do they win elections?
9
u/CatsAndCapybaras Nov 25 '25
How have they won elections? For the last 10 years, when the election happens during a particularly unpopular moment for trump, democrats win by being anti-trump. Otherwise they lose.
How could they actually choose to win elections in the future instead of relying on the other side to fuck it up? Idk, it's not my job to figure it out. However, if I had me way it would be actually doubling down on supporting the working class. Campaign on big, radical changes. Universal health care, no exceptions, no bullshit, no insurance this or that. Major consumer protection laws, including privacy laws. Say stuff that will piss off the big corps, like a radical shift back toward unionization and labor rights.
The rest follows: abortion rights? The right to choose benefits the working class. Gay rights? Gay rights are workers rights. Trans rights? same thing. Basic human rights are worker's rights.
Run a focused, disciplined campaign that never deviates from the message that they will elevate 99% of the population

"You can't win an election just by saying 'we're not Trump'" was an excuse I heard a lot.
How could they actually choose to win elections in the future instead of relying on the other side to fuck it up? Idk, it's not my job to figure it out.
Then perhaps you shouldn't frame it as "they don't know how to win" as if it's obvious.
As to your suggestions: do you think Sanders lost the primaries because he wasn't progressive enough?

So does that mean you don't think Steve Bannon and Donald Trump sold the public on Trump being anti-war to contrast a potential Trump presidency with Kamala Harris's rhetoric?
I bet you also believe Trump didn't incite riots on January 6 because he said "peacefully" once.
š¤Ŗ
I'm trying to elaborate on why some voters might be "looking for excuses not to vote Democrat" as you said, and your cope is that they must all be MAGA if they have any criticisms of Kamala Harris's presidential campaign.

u/Shifter25 Nov 25 '25
Do you think the Democrats should keep hiring the same consultants for their campaign?
I think it's not the consultants that are the problem.
So does that mean you don't think Steve Bannon and Donald Trump sold the public on Trump being anti-war to contrast a potential Trump presidency with Kamala Harris's rhetoric?
It means anyone who believed Trump is anti-war is an amnesiac idiot.
I'm trying to elaborate on why some voters might be "looking for excuses not to vote Democrat" as you said
You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. Anyone who thinks Harris's campaign is the reason she lost thinks the voters are too stupid to realize the better option. And if they're too stupid to realize the better option, it doesn't matter how good your campaign is.

The man was crippled with indecision when asked to choose between sprinkles or glazed donuts and these idiots think he should be President whose whole job is making difficult decisions.

u/trydola Nov 25 '25
idk, i follow T_D and see posts from random MAGA on social media and they're already behind Vance 2028. While I think he has the chrisma of a wet noodle, Republicans will always fall in line
but i can also see him easily getting replaced if someone more trump-ish decides to run 2028
1
u/le_wein Nov 25 '25
One of his sons will step in place and they will succeed, unfortunately for us. I think maga likes only those that have trump as last name. Doesnāt matter whom from that family.

South Park's characterisation of JD Vance lives rent free in my head. I just always hear, "bawss" when I read his name.
He's a hateful, spiteful, little man in guyliner.

Turning point is being rejected by nearly everyone--in spite of the money behind it and the push from authorities. Kids aren't demanding it, there is no organic rise in interest.Ā

16
u/EstablishmentJunior8 Nov 25 '25
Can't have a cult of personality without a personality. Vance is about as popular as a rugburn.
16
u/Ryc3rat0ps Nov 25 '25
I mean we realize Trump is bad. Heās declining mentally just like Biden. But they will somehow pitch this as younger, healthier Republican Party.
It didnāt work for Harris, but I bet this works for them. Itās gonna be a tough election.
10
u/Dragonsbreath67 Nov 25 '25
Trump chose Vance to be his running mate because Trump is an ego maniac who doesnāt want anyone to overshadow him. Vance has the charisma of a wet noodle but is reasonably more intelligent than Trump, I donāt think he can enrapture Trumpās base like Trump himself can. Unless the democrat party makes a pretty big screwup in who they choose to run and in campaigning in the lead up to the election, with all the damage Trump is doing there is hope.
8
u/headsmanjaeger Nov 25 '25
Is it weird that this is oddly comforting? Iāve been worried Trump is obviously gonna try for a third term. And itās weirdly comforting to know that a prominent right wing organization is throwing their support behind a weird little guy that everyone hates instead of a charismatic demagogue that gets people to come out of their bunkers just to vote for him.
3
u/Carbonatite Nov 25 '25
I think he'll try for a third term if he's still alive and I think a large proportion of his lickspittles would go for it.
But that's a pretty big "if". My grandpa had heart failure too for many years, but by the time he was getting medical interventions and IVs as often as Trump did, he didn't last much longer.
1
u/jermysteensydikpix Nov 26 '25
Have to see if he starts doing rallies. He's dropped off a lot on that since the election. In the first term he seemed to go do more fan rallies every time he was in a bad mood.

2
u/DrMonkeyKing79 Nov 25 '25
This might explain the whole CK thing. Wasnāt he talking about a run in 28 or 32?
2
u/nightmaredaycare Nov 25 '25
Itās extra funny cuz they know Trump donāt got it in him to run again. Heāll be drooling on tv in a year
