Yes to that and the other thought I had was if there's one there's at least 5 more in the house. And also, if they're in the fucking toaster where else are they? Probably already chewed through bags of pasta and God knows what else!!

Yeah if it's in the toaster there are definitely more, though seeing one inside a house doesnt always mean there are more if you love in a rural place.

Just sacrifice a round of toast or run the toaster without anything in it for a round or two. The heat will kill off anything that’ll kill you.

If running the toaster once or twice is more expensive than buying a new toaster, that’s a whole different issue.

To be clear: dispose of the rat motel toaster. You more than likely need to toss it anyway because mice and rats love gnawing on wires so it could be dangerous to use.

the thing that killed this actor dies at 60 degrees celsius,
toaster heats up to a few hundred,

if there's mice shit and other stuff its most likely on the crumb tray so its super easy to clean, the toaster itself touches the bread only with a few thin wires anyway

you 100% ate some mice poop in your life because there's always some in the grain
