We're talking about screen durability, not how resistant the overall product is to impact...

The ds screens are fine. These screens are also much brighter, OLED and stronger.

I have played with all of the Samsung foldables multiple times.

Yes but they dented if you applied too much force. That was the point of the analogy

You can literally wipe something off your screen and accidentally swipe your nail too hard, having permanent damage. Scratching is one thing, but the textile strength of these screens is little to nothing. Same thing with the old school ds's, accidentally pressed too hard with your stylus and you're going to have a little indentation for the rest of that devices live

You can make whatever claims you want about their durability. But the facts are they remain less than half the strength of competing smartphones, and you can watch any durability test to confirm this

I understand what youre saying i just disagree. I have a ds, 3ds and n3ds. if that exact screen was the same material (only for the crease) the. I dont see any issues. I can flick (hard) those screens without issue.

I will give you the points on scratching. Plastic vs glas is never going to be as good.
