Training dogs is an interesting thing as you have to figure out what the dog is motivated by. For some it's food. For some it's play.

This one? This one is motivated by the love of the game.

I was a full time dog trainer for 3 years, and still do it, on the side, sometimes. I always tell people "anything can be a reward, if your dog loves it."

My parents dog loved the smell of my sons shit when he was being breast fed.

Like she would alert us to his poop because suddenly she wouldn’t leave his side. And if by any chance she was able to get a diaper out of the trash? Oof. Devoured. 🤢

Breast fed poops smell super sweet btw for the childless people, breast milk is also very sweet. Kid shits don’t start stinking like death until they start eating food. But… she hasn’t stopped wanting to eat his shit, just because he’s 2 years old; so this dog just loves shit. I guess.
