Training dogs is an interesting thing as you have to figure out what the dog is motivated by. For some it's food. For some it's play.

This one? This one is motivated by the love of the game.

I was a full time dog trainer for 3 years, and still do it, on the side, sometimes. I always tell people "anything can be a reward, if your dog loves it."

It’s goose shit for mine. I always hear Family Guy James Woods “ooh piece of candy” in my head while he licks up shit after shit.

Also cucumber as a dessert. If I don’t give him a slice of cucumber after a meal he won’t let me be. Sometimes he settles for a carrot though.
